I am, in a way, still young in Christianity and in particular I love this song. I loved it even more after a sermon was given by this lecturer I had, Mr.Ayako,from Kabarak university in Kenya. Before proceeding to teach, he would always give a brief sermon. This one in particular stuck with me. It's from the book of 2Kings chapter 6. The Israelites were at war with the Syrians, but the Israelites had the servant of God, Elisha, who would tell the Israelites all the moves the enemies were to make. As a result, the Israelites were winning most of the battles. So the Syrians had a council, and it became known to the King of Syria that it was Elisha aiding the Israelites. The King ordered an entire army, with horses and chariots to go and capture Elisha. And so, one morning, Elisha's servant went out of the tent and behold, an entire army had surrounded them. The servant felt like, this was it, like they were done for. So he went to Elisha and told him about it but Elisha, unlike his servant, was unshaken. He went before God, not to ask for help, for he knew he already had that, but to ask God to open the eyes of his servant.And so the eyes of the servant were opened and, behold, an entire army of angels, it is said the entire mountain was covered with horses and chariots of fire, a great army of angels around them. An army greater than even that of the enemy....At times, like it was with Elisha, the army will send not one or two of his soldiers after you but an entire army.Should this happen, remember, you have an army of angels about you. An army far greater than that of the enemy. Don't be filled with worry. Be at rest, go before the lord, and thank him, for He has your back. Good morning and win today😊
