First, thanks for the free album download. I came to check out this video after receiving the follow up email. Interesting set up. The first synth I ever used was the Roland SH2000, but he one I really wish I still had is the Yamaha CS01. It looked like a toy, but produced some absolutely astounding sounds. I also had the breath controller for the CS01 - a very strange thing indeed. I only use soft synths now - Arturia V Collection 9 and UVI Synth Anthology3 plus the software version of the Roland JX3P Good to see that someone can still extract some cool sounds from this old gear.
If I had all of those, I would lock myself in a room with them and launch myself into the cosmos, possibly to another planet and write an entire musical score for the next 100 sci-fi movies!.
Great video. That Roland Synth was a RS09 I believe. Which make is the Drum machine? if you don't mind me asking. And those string synths sound gorgeous. I do a bit of compositions myself and have demoed a few synths too. Thanks for the intro. Best regards
listening to you album now, to answer your Q about identifying sounds it sounds like it starts with the Rhodes, can i hear korg 700s? or is it moog at about 10mins
Great intro ❤
Impressive 👍

I wish I could find a CS01 breath controller. I use Arturia too for productions. Thanks for listening. Daniel

Correct! RS09. Sounds great through a Phaser. Drum machine is an Elektron Model Cycles
nice setup I had a Moog Prodigy in the 80's, my piano was a Wurlitzer.
Prodigy is so huge! Only thing missing is a noise generator.
@@DanielBiroMusic I seem to remember mine having a noise generator, because we used to cover 'Silver Machine' by Hawkwind
although I've just been looking at images online, and it doesn't seem to have one, but I'm sure I used to make a wind type of noise with it.
