Shoutout to moon fr!! He emphasized something to me that I lost in my game lately and that’s toughness. Moon played a game before too and he was ready to get back into it. For me I slacked off and mentally was out of it. He had the stronger mentality and that’s huge in the game of basketball and life. We can all learn from moon y’all. Top tier matchup here fr - Nate def got gassed but he knows those are the types of moments that's gon make him better for the next go around ! Game 1 he still was feeling it then it was just a fatigue factor. Moon's ability to create space off hang dribbles definitely elevates his game especially in 4 dribbles too. 2 pros !

Nathan expends so much energy on all his shots. It's incredibly hard to shoot at the apex of your jump every time, which is why it would help his game if he added a one-motion shot to his game. You'll notice Moon has both a two-block and a one-motion shot. Great to have both in your bag. I don't know how many games they played that day or if they did at all, but you shouldn't be gassed after 2 games up to 5 points, especially for a college-level athlete
Such a good match! Moon defense especially that length is pure lockdown almost. Nate had to hit very contested shots and he did a good job at that. Nate definitely was gassed; he needs to be fresh( I would say anybody would need to) to face that hounding defense.
La Fitness/Lifetime breakdown(a guide for regular guys who may be scared when friga pulls up to their local gym) On Offense: 1 move and pullup on Nathan, he's too small. Never really contests the jumpshot. Scrappy when you try to body him in the paint though but if you're 200+ you can move him out the way down there. Moon stands straight up on defense because he's long and quick. This makes him overplay and react to almost everything. (In reality if nate doesn't miss all those pound dribble stepback jumpers it's a quick W). If you have a handle and a jumper? He's bbq chicken. He will go for everything north and south BUT...very good recovery speed and long arms to contest...utilize the hezi/pump fake. Also, he can't handle the body contact. Just make sure you know how to use your body for long arm defenders. On Defense: Gotta bump moon. Loves to go left and right which allows you to get up in his body. Gotta be discipline and not over play, loves to get your hips turned and snatch. Nathan isn't scary left to right. Does not have a wide handle. Because of this, play him straight up and force him the way that's comfortable for you always on balance because he loves the stepback. When nathan turns his back he is very crafty but do not standup or relax. Stay low and MOVE YOUR FEET. He loves to turn his back and give 1 pound dribble to get the defender up and guessing, if you stay low and move there is nowhere to go but a fade. Fadeaways aren't hard to contest on smaller players when your legs are already loaded and you're moving. Watch for pump fakes, he is patient and methodical
Moon is juts wild 1v1 player. But man so much respect for Nathan taking that right after playing duece. And really think game 1 shocked moon. Don't think he thought he was gonna lose any games. But can't wait to see that rematch when both are fresh.

Moon knew that, that’s why he wanted to start the game up so fast after Nate finished playing. Nate didn’t have his legs to play someone like Moon full strength. Bet money if it’s a rematch and Nate is fresh he’s taking the dub.
