@@CommonGardenGrub I’ve seen some of those, they seem to be one of those concepts that’s always 10 years away. There’s a few big flaws with them, one of which is the lack of residual weed control. With herbicide we only have to spray the crop once when it’s up and we have things controlled until canopy, while when we used to run row crop cultivators we had to make 3 passes. From the videos I’ve seen, they’re really slow too. Like less than a mile per hour on 20 feet wide slow. A lot of sprayers now are 120feet wide and can easily handle over 10 mph. Definitely a reason they’re not around yet.

Genetically modifying a corn plant is a lot different than modifying a human. Lot less risk with a corn plant.
