Few general assistant manager thoughts: 1) We’ve got another eight plus game weeks to save money and generate team value, so we shouldn’t compromise the team to save for that. 2) They’re pricing managers between 0.5 and 1.5, but if a lower rated 0.5-manager team has a good run, they could easily out score a manager who costs 1.5. 3) Given a lot of us would like to prioritise BB, TC, WC and FH around any blanks and doubles, I wouldn’t be surprised if we save the AM for the final few weeks of the season. By which point our team value will be at its highest.
You have made some great assessments, what's going to be interesting is when they release the price list for the managers. Also, when we can expect double gameweeks.

Think I'm rolling for the *first* time this entire season. Missed the opportunity to go from Cunha to Isak last week as I was priced out, going to leave Cunha now until after the Leicester game and hope he does some bits! Rest of my team is perfect for now, I think, so definitely rolling!
I am putting off work to watch this. Absolutely no regrets. Ross, would you say a -4 over the next two weeks to do Gabriel, Lewis, Mbeumo and Cunha to Virgil, Huijson, Amad and Isak is worth it? Going for VVD just because my team value is not great and kind of why I need to take Gabriel out too. I was fortunate enough to switch Sanchez for Raya right before he went up in price this week. I had brought in Chelsea's goalie before Southampton away in GW14, only for him to be benched that fixture anyway. Then he played so badly against Tottenham away that there's now a good chance he'll either lose his position to Jorgensen or get suspended before the end of the month. Complete waste of a transfer and a valuable lesson learnt: don't skimp on the goalie, just pick either Raya or Alison and move on!
Hai Ross, I really think you should rethink about who to sell from your defenders, as you've shown in future weeks you do not want to play davis/vdberg, so the only time you (probably) play one of those is this week, and do you think that the difference in points they will score this week is worth it to keep someone who is 0.4/0.5 more expensive as being your third sub all the time. I also think that you can just keep vdberg for the rest of the season as third sub while davis you probably will transfer out another time, so I also see that as an extra transfer. It is a lot of hypothesizing but for only this week (and with the little amount of clean sheets that are happening), assuming both defenses consider, the difference between the two will probably not be that much in my eyes. Love the content btw and good luck with the decision!
Almost a matching starting XI. I just have Jackson and Raya with no Isak. I will more than likely captain Palmer. Will be interesting to see how it goes this week! Good luck with yours.

I have three CHE players (Palmer, Enzo, Jackson). I am a little worried if this game goes south. Therefore I am thinking of Captaining Isak. And maybe benching Enzo and play Semenyo, whom i dont like very much, but WHU is decent fixure. If i bench Enzo, i will probably captain Palmer. What do you guys think?
If you’re having this concern when Enzo is playing Brentford at home you probably shouldn’t have made the transfer as logically you’ll never play him. I would play Enzo ahead of Semenyo and then captaincy I can see the logic in going Isak although he’s hurt me too many times recently so personally wouldn’t.

i don't think your other players should affect who you captain, just put the armband on the single player you think will score the most points this week. Personally I have Palmer over Isak, and I'm Swedish myself 🫡
Saka had a solid performance against Monaco in the champions league and does make for a great differential pick as captain. It seems like almost everyone is going with Salah/Palmer/Isak.
Having the thoughts to replace Cunha in GW18 too. Been looking at Wood, Mateta and Solanke. The problem is that I own Welbeck and might need to bring in 2 of those options but not very sure if it's the right move.
Strikers get less points for goals, no clean sheet points, Cunha hasn't scored in 3 and doesn't take pens. Isak is a decent shout but Newcastle's form is really inconsistent at the moment. Palmer and Salah are both on pens, both teams are scoring well at the moment, especially Chelsea. Salah is involved in the majority of his team's goals this season and has double digit hauls in the vast majority of games. It doesn't make any sense to try to be clever and bet against him right now
@samkirkbright56 I agree, betting against Salah has been proving costly. But Salah has to blank at some point. Catching that blank will be crucial. You are right on salah's goal involvements, he counts for 70 percent of Liverpool's goals and assists.

Defence is poor but I have 4 premiums and still have Jackson/ joao pedro in a 3-4-3. 105.1 team value that’s how I can afford to get to him. I know it’s not the ideal gameweek but I want to bring him in at 14.9 in gw17 instead of gw18 when everybody will get him and liable to rise in price…. Tell me not to do it 😂

Palmer sadly doesn't have a very good record against Brentford judging by last season, but you might have something there.
