My old LG split system used to make that grinding noise too. My electrician friend who installed my new Hisense 7kw V series says it's the wall mounting bracket that causes that noise. If the screws are not done up tightly enough, or if they become loose over time, the bracket will rattle with the vibrations from the head unit's fan, and cause it to interact with the metal plate on the back of the head unit. Very important to make sure that the screws holding the mounting bracket up are done up tight, and might even pay to use small spring washers to prevent them from unscrewing themselves. If you're getting this problem now, it will definitely come back in 5 - 10 years, even if you've fixed it for now.
I used to stuff tea towels between the wall and the head unit, and lodge a stick between the ceiling and the top right end of the head unit to get the grinding noise to stop. But it would always return because the screws plugs would be pulled even further away from the wall from the force of stuffing towels in the gap. Eventually the thing might have fallen off the wall and onto my head. Luckily I got the whole system replaced before that happened. Now I know to never do that again.
In my case that is not the reason for the noise. The plate is as tight as it can be. It's some internal gap that is not in tolerance, because the noise only appears sometimes when the ac is really cold. So, basically something contracts too much.

Maybe your model has different procedure, or it does not have Wifi module.
Thanks for the help with connecting the dumb thing to my wifi,I prefer using my phone for it and the wording on the app is stupid,couldn't manage to get it into connecting mode.

De ce nu îl pot conecta în zice se verifică cloud și se închide nu îl conectează… oare fac eu ceva greșit? Am urmat exact aceeași pași. Țin sa menționez ca l-am avut conectat și s-a deconectat singur

Si eu am patit o singura data sa se deconecteze complet si a trebuit sa iau toti pasii de la inceput si sa il reconectez in aplicatie, ca si cand ar fi fost un aparat nou.

Hi, how satisfied are you with your Hisense airco unit after 1-2 months of operations? I also want to buy a Hisense (multi split) airco, but when I ask around in Belgium, I hear that this is quality wise not a good device for regular cooling (and heating). To me it looks like a good brand and unit. What is your (of other owners) the experience?
Hi. For me it seems to be really good. Also a good friend has one and he is happy with it.
FYI: in the meantime I bought and installed two Hisense Quadrasplit airco units; operational now for one week and works like a charm; also the app is perfect.

Hisense is a new brand just founded 10+ years ago. It is very young compare to other Big Brands. Hisense grows fast due to its competitive pricing and reliable quality. People telling you Hisense is not good and ask you to choose other brand because Hisense profit margin is lower compare to other big brand.

Hi, good video. I have the same model (for less than 2 years), but it makes noise from the external machine (as it was suffering a lot) in the cooling mode (less noise when the air is dried after hours of work). What could be the problem?

Hello... I have lost the wifi connection of my Hisense AC with my smartphone. I always used ConnectLife to switch my Aircon ON/OFF outside house, but suddenly the connection cut. Please need your advice how to connect it again outside with my smartphone .. thanks in advance.
Hello. Unplug the AC from mains power and then plug it back in. Mine looses the connection from time to time also and this fixes it.

I don't know. I have seen that in US houses you have heating and cooling based on air ducts and vents. In EU in general this is not used. We have split ac for cooling and radiators connected with water pipes to the central heating unit.

For mine it was built in, but search on forums, I think others managed to add it.

Mine is a split ac, i do whatever instructions say, but it doesn't work. I press the horizon airflow button 6 times or the sleep button 8 times but it doesn't react.

Why do you have two live L0,L1 connection inside indoor unit? Mine had L N Earth and SI. I've seen one today also has only three wires , so I guess the signal wire is cast on the live wire and N and Earth

8 BAR pressure is to less, you should pressure test it with 30BAR at least and not with air do it with nitrogen, Nitrogen is drier compare to air. The days your father worked they used R12 and R22 which has a much lower working pressure than R32 and R410a.
With what we used in the video it's impossible to do that, but I understand your point.
Salut, un pic de ajutor daca se poate, eu lam cumparat dara wifi iar acum iam adaugar un modul wifi aeh.....dar nu reusesc nicicum sal conectez la router, am incercat vreo 4 aplicatii si degeaba, ce am observat e ca apasand de 6 ori pe tasta se aude beepul cum ca ar intra in pairing mode dar 77 se aprinde pentru cateva secunde dupa care apare temperarura, ce am mai observat este ca modulul nu creeaza o retea wifi cu numele his.... Creeaza o retea cu numele aeh....chiar nu stiu unde sal ma gadil...

You can control the AC from anywhere as long as you have some kind of internet connection on your phone.

I tried to connect my AC but I couldn't. When I press the horizontal swing button 6 times I get a 7 tones beeping sound and nothing happens! The temperature stays displayed and I can't find the "HIS-XXXX" network on my phone!

Can you see the WiFi module when you lift the cover?
I use Hisense 24 Inverter for heating. When i set temperature to max 30c, i get in app that air temperature that comes out is 31-32c? Is this normal? I think this is low. Thanks
At least mine does not show the temperarure of the air coming out. It shows the temperature of the air going into the unit.

For the Wifi. The Wifi adapter is now using a HiSmart-01-XXXXXXX format instead of the HIS-XXXX format. Now the app won't detect the module wifi network. Anyone know a fix?
Try to connect manually to that network while pairing the AC to the app.
I have identical AC unite like this. Installed in late August worked few days cooling everything good.
Started heating mid September mostly on 26 to 28 Celsius, ventilator on medium to low speed. When I go to work it's idle for cca 6h.
After one months it stopped heating.
Cooling, ventilator and dehumidifier works, when I switch to heating I can only hear click on outside unit and noting happens. Don't know where to start.
Could be thermostat?
I called ac mechanic he basically started screaming this is not AC unit fit for heating. And nobody showed up. of course its holidays nobody will come to check it.
Did anyone had any experience?
Sadly, these are actually not meant for constant heating. You might get away with it in warmer climates, but in cold countries...nope.

Întreb pentru ca vreau sa comand și eu o unitate de 12000btu, și as prefera sa evit surprizele..
Depinde. Daca nu vrei sa faci vid, atunci doar suportii i-am cumparat.
Unitatea are 18000btu.
Din pacate nu mai tin minte nici un fel de dimensiuni.
Eu am cumpărat un hisense apple pie de 9000btu si nu avea nimic, i-am cumpărat eu kit de instalare si suport pt maxim 18000 btu ca sa stea mai in exterior si sa fie mai strong. Va recomand bucsile de cauciuc, nu se aude deloc
Grija cu bucsile de cauciuc. In cativa ani se coc si cad singure, moment in care unitatea ramane nefixata complet pe pozitie. Si eu le-am pus, dar deja incep sa arate rau de la soare. Cand o sa cada o sa strang din nou suruburile si nu mai pun altele.
De asemenea, se mișca lamelele din telecomanda și stânga dreapta? Vad ca e buton pe telecomanda dar am văzut niște comentarii la alte modele în care nu se pot misca.
La modelul meu nu se misca stanga-dreapta.
Eu n-am reusit să conectez la wifi, imi vine să dau cu telefonul de pământ.
Sa te asiguri ca nu incerci sa il conectezi wifi de 5ghz.

But it's a model with wifi capability for sure? As you could see in my video, the wifi is an independent module and might be missing on some models.
The air conditioner is new and the module arrived with it, it was not installed later.
Ok, then I don't know. This is the problem with smart devices, they are awesome when they work and a pain in the but when they don't.

E alt tip de clima. Probabil e generatia veche fara inverter. Cele cu inverter, in general, merg incontinuu, doar variind puterea.
Cat despre consum, greu de ghicit, pentru ca cel mai probabil merge inca si compresorul, dar la putere scazuta. Cat de scazuta, depinde de multi factori.

Nu stiu alte variante de conectare, dar tinand cont ca asta nu merge, cu siguranta exista altul, ca altfel ar fi imposibil.

Nu inteleg ce vrei sa intrebi. A, ba, cred ca mi-am dat seama. Nu e obligatoriu, mai ales pe traseu de lungimea kitului cu care vine. Noi am folosit vidul mai mult pentru a ne asigura ca totul este ermetic.
@@UltimateDIY am kitul de la el de 3 m și am mai văzut un video în care deschide valva mare și apoi trebuie să apeși 5 sec pe butonasul unde aveau tu conectat compresorul că să iasă aer apoi sa deschid valva mica cred că acela e returul

Salut. Am si eu un AC Hisense CD35YR03G. Si pe site la Hisense si pe emag spun ca suporta WIFI, insa daca apasa pe butonul horizontal airflow, face 5 beep-uri si nimic mai mult, nu apare 77 si nici reteaua WIFI nu apare. Any ideas?
Salut. Tare greu de ghicit. Incearca sa contactezi Hisense si sa vezi ce zic. Eventual poti sa verifici daca are modulul wifi instalat. Cred ca am mentionat in video care e.

Am desfăcut capacul splitter-ului si modulul wifi lipseste :'). Ciudat ținând cont ca oriunde caut modelul acesta spun ca suporta wifi.

Par destul de bune la prima vedere. Sper sa tina si in timp.
Update după nici doi ani:
Cel mai teribil aparat din lume. Pe încălzire își face preîncălzirea, pornește după 5 minute (nu ca Daikin-urile mele care își termină preîncălzirea în maxim 2 minute) începe să bage căldură, dar destul de slab la 30°c pt un 18000 btu. Apoi brusc se oprește și intră în dezghețare chiar dacă nu are gheață deloc pe radiatorul exterior, apoi ventilatorul interior pornește random și bagă aer rece, iar apoi bagă căldură și intră în dezghețare și se repetă procesul până ajunge la 30°c. Chiar dacă nu îmi place să chinui aparatele fiindcă îmi plac, dacă nu las porcăria asta pe 30°c pe căldură și 16°c pe răcire n-o să facă niciodată față, chiar dacă pe răcire are avantajul că încăperea este la parter și cu geamurile spre nord, tot nu face față la 34 de persoane, ce-a ce un Daikin sau Mitsubishi Electric pot face față chiar dacă sunt de 12000 btu.
Dacă tot vine vorba de răcire între modul turbo (super pe telecomandă) și viteza maximă a ventilatorului nu există nicio diferență. Și mereu când îl las pe 16°c, trebuie neapărat să pâlpâie pe display codul de eroare " 77 " apoi să dispară pt 10 minute și apoi începe iar cu pâlpâitul. Am căutat codul " 77 " pe site-ul Hisense și ce să vezi, nicăieri nu arată ce înseamnă " 77 ".
Avantaje:
-destul de silențios pt o chinezărie ( ce-a ce e destul de suspect)
- preț binișor la doar 2500 de lei când a fost achiziționat ( atât am dat și pe Daikin-ul meu de pe hol)
Design-ul nu e cine știe ce, telecomanda este foarte enervantă. Trebuie să stai fix în fața lui ca să preia comanda, dar tot există șanse să ignore senzorul aparatului.
Hisense e varză la aere condiționate. Din fericire, este în clasa pe care tocmai am părăsit-o și n-o să mai folosesc niciodată vreun Hisense 💅
Dupa comentariul tau sunt destul de convins ca ori ai prins un aparat defect, ori nu a fost instalat corespunzaror. Se intampla foarte des sa fie indoita una din tevi din scurt si sa se "gatuiasca". Spun asta doar prin prisma faptului ca al nostru functioneaza impecabil si tine toata casa rece invlusiv pe canicula din acest moment. Practic o casa cu etaj racita doar de aceasta clima. Asta e complet opus fata de ceea ce semnalezi tu, deci suspectez o problema la unitatea ta.
