I use my pastry blender when I'm making dumplings. I mix the flour, shortening, ( or meat drippings), salt and an egg. It mixes it to a fine crumb where it's easy to roll out.
when you dumpster dive, if you find baskets with handles you can use them for going to the farmers markets. like "Little House on the Prairie " LOL the black handle thingy is a pastry blender when you make pie crust and such.
The little wire handled tool is used for blending flour with your other ingredients for example like making biscuits with either your butter and or shortening to make it more evenly incorporated
@@breafkast use them for packing sticks of cucumber, carrots, celery etc. Then all you need is a yummy dip and you've got a tasty addition to your picnic 💜
Those little plastic containers are good for many things. You can freeze water in them and put in a small cooler with a couple of bottles of water. Use to store jewelry when traveling. I use them to hold hair ties, bobby pins, clippies. In my kitchen drawers I put corn on the cob holders in one, tooth pics in another. Another thing I use them for is for the floss picks when we travel.
I'd keep the small Tupperware..good for single servings of pasta salads or fruits or even condiments in your picnic basket. I've even folded a washcloth into a square and put it and hot water in the container for quick frugal and environmentally friendly clean up after a picnic, park trip, dumpster dive..can also use them to organize and store small items. Hair ties, safety pins, thumb tacks, jewelry..whatever.
The Tupperware fits into that storage tote. Keep the small containers for daises and 1 serving items. That is a pastry blender but I use mine to smash eggs for egg salad, potatoes, all kinds of things. The pots and pans were in excellent shape. Just need a good scrub. Great haul.
Hi Kelly and Alex I enjoyed your video keep the videos coming I enjoy them you guys are awesome have a wonderful evening love and God bless 💕❤️♥️🙏🙏🙏👍✌️

Just a tip but get a bag with Tupper ware and your rolling cooler bag ready night before the farmers market. It's all in the small details on getting used to it. Thanks for taking us with you two to the farmers market !!! It was so cool to see all that fresh produce.
It’s a pastry blender for making pie crusts or biscuits. It blends the shortening or butter into the flour. The little storage are great for bringing dressings for a salad at the lake. Great haul! Perhaps the big stuffed toy had a battery deep in the fluff, or it’s haunted.
If you have the freezer packs that are used to keep food cold in coolers, freeze them then put them in a bowl in front of a fan will help cool your rooms.
The "nut cracker" is a lobster cracker, it cracks the claw shells, also used for crab. The wire thing is a manual dough blender. I love the haul, and the farmers market. Stay cool and be well.
Those nut crackers are really crab leg/lobster crackers. We had to get some window units for the bedrooms and one for the kitchen because the A/C unit can't keep up with the over 100 degrees. We turn the bedroom ones on about an hour before bed to get them nice and cool. I can't sleep in 85 degrees! You might be surprised at what those little containers come in handy for. That was a great haul!
It's funny how you call generic plastic containers Tupperware. Every time I'm like looking really hard for the Tupperware and then I realize there isn't any lol

The big box with lid is what the fridge dishes were packaged from the store. You could keep them in it your pantry, that way everything is together. Hope you get the air fixed soon. Peace love and happiness 2022
Seville tower fans work great, got one free from dump, another from a friend. Gave one away - recipient said it saved them thousands by not having to install AC on upper floor. They even have an eco-mode. Less than $80.00 on Amazon. Good alternative till you do get AC.
My ac is the same story as yours. I am an empty nester and a one income household so replacing it has me using a window unit in a window off the back side of my house. I am going to get the ac replaced in off season to save a little dinero! I bought the “ woo zoo” fan from Costco and it helped tremendously!! Here’s to being cool 😎 soon ! 🥂🍻
A friend of ours takes plastic bags for their school to get a bench. I'm not sure if it's made into the bench or sold back but point is, if you are concerned about plastic bags, don't necessarily be. Many grocery stores will also have bins outside for dropping off clean, dry plastic bags. Lastly, keep those teeny Tupperware boxes in case you all get jewellery or small items that need sorting.
Also in Texas we can recycle plastic bags in bundles, meaning you can put anywhere from 30-60 clean plastic bags in one bag and tie it. That’s what the blue recycle trash bin says on the lid
The big problem is, very few people take their plastic bags to get recycled. The majority end up in the ocean (where they hurt and kill animals) and landfills. They need to be banned!
You HAVE to get your AC replaced ASAP! I also live in Texas and it has been dangerously hot! You could buy one small window unit AC and at least have one room that is cool. My house had one room with a window AC when I bought it. My central AC had problems in June and I was able to retreat to that room while the central air was being fixed. Home Depot has them for $169 and up and its a good investment. Your home AC will have problems again- they all do!
Kelly! Love your hair-- you look so cute:) Those cookie sheets won't come clean enough for you so get parchment paper and put that down before you bake. Same thing happened with me & my central AC. When you do replace it, don't forget to check with the IRS when you file your taxes so you don't miss any potential tax incentives. Y'all are so much fun. Really wholesome content that I need in my life. :)
