Hope you guys enjoy the video because this was not easy! Had a few technical issues but everything else got through! I’d like to see some timestamps down below on your favorite bridge sounds cause there are some good ones here!
I noticed that US30 and PA283 in Lancaster County has unfortunately started grooving the concrete on these routes longitudinal the past few years. The bridges still appear to use transverse grooving on both these routes though. Great video as always!
Another awesome one Roadsounder! 9:22 - the US 30/222 interchange project is progressing until 2027. Northward, I'm surprised they repaved the latter leading to Berks County.
I assume you mean the bridge in the video? Because the I-76 bridge is technically called the Susquehanna River Bridge. This one is Wrights Ferry. Edit: Just noticed you said westbound. That makes much more sense.
I like the bridge sounds on us 30 because they sound like whistles similar to interstate 81. The ones on 83 sounds similar to the highway interstate 65 in indiana

Thank you! Yeah it is what it is sadly. There are still positives to having longitudinal grooves but at least it’s not zero grooves.

32:25 to 33:52 the classic PA growl
Also, the susquehanna river bridge westbound is one of my favorite sounds of all time
