These are pricy, but as someone who has flat feet and struggles to get good supportive but comfortable shoes these would have to be worth a try. Problem is few local retailers stock excel, and I could not mail order them due to weird shape of my feet
I have a pair of Biom GoreTex and I have to say they are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned. To get the width for my feet you have to remove the insole (standard Ecco solution which you correctly highlighted) which leaves you with no cushioning in the forefoot, for the Bioms is terrible. My wife swears by hers, she has five or six pairs of their golf shoes and I daren't even count how many of their street shoes she has. My conclusion...far too expensive especially if you get spikeless as once the 'nubs' wear the shoes are useless as golf shoes, even though the uppers will still have years left in them 😔
Wow this interesting, thanks for sharing! I suppose this just shows that it's all horses for courses when it comes to golf shoes. Definitely worth trying and testing out before buying.

It really is hard finding the right shoes for your feet/game! They are expensive so definitely make sure you try before you buy

Had 2 pairs in the past. Wouldn't get ECCO again, they won't stand over faults
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I want a pair
I'm sure they are a shoe that plenty of golfers will want to get their hands on this year...
Far too expensive
Golf shoes (just like everything in life) really have got pretty expensive in recent times!
