    Dear Team,
Request you to clarify what is the correct way to perform a full alignment on a A320. And where is it mentioned. Do we Off and the Nav ( after 5 secs) one IRS at a time? Or can we switch all 3 to OFF one after the other and then to NAV in sequence. Also do we have to align 1 then 3 and then 2 in that order? There is an RTLD damage caution if All 3 set to OFF simultaneously with Flaps/slats out in the After Landing procedures as a note. Does that mean we must as a caution for the RTLU always switch them OFF then to Nav on an IRS before doing the same on the next IRS without switching them all to OFF back to back?

Switch IRS 1, 2 and 3 to NAV mode in this order or any order you want, but wait for the ON BAT light to extinguish before switching the next IRS switch.
Go to MCDU, Init page enter departure/arrival airport, then IRS INIT then click align on reference then confirm the alignment. Once you have done that, wait from 7 to 10 min and then the 3 IRS will be aligned.

Great content, thank you. Out of curiosity, what does ATT knob position do?
