Jack Garland. The only screen time WoL & Garland have with each other in this game and the flashy end screen. I can’t get around how this story is wasted like this for being so unfinished, these 2 are the main core from the series. Not to mention how they messed up all the other villain with little to no screen time. Golbez & Kain received the worse treatment. Results when a greedy suit decides to focus on $$$ DLC packs. People who bought this at launch day must have been pissed, you cannot defend this shit. This must have been worse before they even add the extra DLC scenes after launch.
No Kidding. In Opera Omnia story, They make sure to have every hero and Villain feel as important as the world their in, which makes the story in that game a much better story than the one In here. I mean, with that game the premise is, “hey, the peaceful World B is Overrun by monster portals, and if it consumes this world, all your Worlds will have the Same fate. Go save this world while also Retrieving your lost memories while you at it and keep the balance between Light and dark as much as possible so the world Won’t crumble.” Here, the story in this game is like: “Remember the story of the first game? Well we going do that again but have it be rushed and Unexplained so it won’t overshadow the Esports idea, Because everyone like’s Esports, Right?”
A relative of mine got a review copy and felt ripped-off. So was I because I was the one who played a good chunk of it. But yeah, if you want a better story set after the events of Dissidia and 012, your best bet is Opera Omnia.
@@LightningZerkerAgreed, despite it being a mobile gacha game(meaning it has microtransactions) and no English voice overs. Opera Omnia had an outright better story than NT and I assume the latter game "killed" Dissidia Final Fantasy for now. I don't get why Spiritus sounds flamboyant in English despite having a hoarse, overtly masculine voice in Japanese.
No kidding. The entire story mode of this game can be summed up with gods bring FF protagonist and villains to participate in some sort of petty squabble, but they don't give any clear instructions so every character waste time trying to figure out what to do until they reach the ending. I mean this is the criticism I gave with Final Fantasy 13 due to whole "figure out your Focus" nonsense, but that at least only amounted to 50% of that games story before the main villain spelled it out for them.
Oh i think you can't defend this game i got this game i believe the week after it comes out and it was complete mess bro now after dlc goes they did being some from 012 and they add new characters who debut in this game but i still think this game drop the ball here
