Sadhinchane O Manasa | A Kanyakumari | Arabhi Ragam | Tyagaraja | Carnatic Violin

As part of the 125th birthday celebrations of Sri Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar, Sri Chembai Memorial Trust, Trivandrum organizes a Music Festival from 11th to 15th March 2022. Popular carnatic musicians are presenting concerts in this prestigious music festival.

Besides A Kanyakumari garu , co -violinist Padma krishna garu is also great player. All over the video I can see her face filled with immense happiness. She thoroughly enjoys the moment.

Kanyakumari is a good example of how sometimes textbook technique can be discarded without any seeming detriment. She holds the bow a third of the way up and invariably bows atop the fingerboard rather than between it and the bridge, and isn't always abeam to the instrument either
