My theory is that this isn't your characters house, but your friends. The one message Mike read made it sound like someone else had wrote it. Saying how sorry they are for everything, sounding as if they didn't have much time left. Your friend is most likely the one that's in the tapes, trying to burn them and then lie that he destroyed them. Your character was most likely the one warning them about the tapes and asking if he had burned them. The house owner dies, you haven't heard from him in a while, go there, find the place empty, the room with scribbles/messages and tapes that should have been destroyed. Apparently this is the last update of the game before full release. So 2023 is the release year for the game too! Exciting!
so i have have this in mind that i think would be cool in the game. so after we made amanda angry by picking and typing all the wrong choices and words, she will force the player to open the door in tape 3 after that you hear a banging sound outside your room with the text in the game telling you "she's here, hide and escape" you had to make your way out of the house without getting caught by amanda. you also have to hide from her. i don't know what to do with the ending when you escape, i'll let you decide

This looks so cool! The fact they added more stuff , that they improved everything , but kind of ,instead of a goosebump giving 1970 feeling , it gives it another vibe. Did they remake the logo because of anything? It does look more cartoony but not more than a Dora cartoon style,which is the reason it was created. Maybe it gives the feeling that it's either a ripoff and you wanna watch it , or an original that is just kind of howl. It looks amazing right now , i love how they added the game lore , love the vibe you have , being in an attic , or walking up there and door shuts on you , and everything there is blood and a single tv with tapes. And you cant escape , even if its your own house. You 're desperate and you watch the tapes for how boring the room is or to find clues. And it happens to be the demon traps people watching the tapes , it's like ring imho , the siblings might have died , burnt to death , maybe tricked , and they kill people just like they got killed to then transform in a "Cartoony Character" in their sleep or by the demon. Amanda probably died , Wooly , from desperation, hung hiself , or Amanda hung Wooly. As Amanda clarified , she did say she hung someone, or if not , the roles might be switched. Wooly just wanted the sister back. If its just a dream and if amanda and wooly arent actually the siblings... loree

As you can see, at the end of the video, the tapes are stacked up and if you read it, it says 2023. But, there is a tape with a piece of tape on the number of the tape, but you can slightly see that there is a one. Therefore I think the code for the tape in the forest is 20231.

Im imaging a massive chase scene where you run out the door, down the stairs, out the house, out the garden, into another building, through the vents, and then amanda gets stuck because she cant fit through the vents in her "Mickey Mouse with eggs on her eyes" form.

I think what it meant by "say hello" is what amanda was saying cause when she is about to enter your house she says something and that person that said dont let her in had a blue background on the tape but the other was black and it said "say hello" so basically amanda has been in that house and your just doing the same thing over and over again. That's how amanda gets more strong, when she captures somebody she uses fear to gain power if that person is scared they will be trapped in the game. If you ever read this in episode one, there is a skeleton hand in the bush which means amanda has been doing this for a long time and has been capturing people in the tapes to keep her show alive and that's how her and her brother have been trapped in there there was many characters that played as Amanda before her and any girl that is trapped in there will be the next Amanda until the tapes are destroyed. Another thing that I think for now is that "Amanda" didn't want to use the tape, her brother forced her also known as woolie (I think) and that's why in every episode he warns everyone because he knows what will happen to him if he doesn't do what Amanda says.
