Hi Paul, I watch your videos all the time and you have helped me alot in my part 3 training, when starting a lesson im having difficulty bringing up the risk are there any tips you can give me please, do I ask what they think the possible risks are? And do I ask that question for every subject we cover? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Jamie.

You have to adjust it frequently by giving them more, or less, responsibility. With most new subjects you would explain that you'll guide them through it in detail but not always, like when reversing into a parking bay if you've already done parallel parking. A lot of the skills of reversing, observation etc. are very similar.
Hi Paul, just a question. During my driving test I was asked to do a bay park for my maneouvre, but this was immediately after I set off. I was basically told to pull out of the bay at the test center and park back into it. I did it fine but my driving instructor said that she had never seen this done before (although she is very new). Basically I was wondering how often you've seen this happen. Thanks.
Yes you can do bay parking at the very start. It used to be done all the time and then around 2007 they just stopped doing it. I had this happen in October 2017, they asked a pupil to do it at the start and it caught both of us out! I hadn't seen it done for years. I don't know why that was and if they ever stopped or whether it was just luck that i had hundreds of driving tests in a row without getting it at the start.

I had 3 attempts at part 2 and 2 times I was asked to do reverse bay park in test centre carpark just after setting off, passed 3rd time,
