  • Bohr's theory givers the idea of structure of hydrogen atom.
    a. States the postulates of Bohr's atomic model.
    b. In the given energy level diagram,
    i. The largest possible energy emission in given condition.
    ii. The longest wavelength of emitted photon.
    iii. From which atom, the energy levels have been taken.
    iv. Explain the significance of the energy levels having negative values.

    I think the 2nd postulate can be stated as ‘when electron makes transition from one energy level to another, the energy absorption/emission can be expressed as hf=……
    One can asks why did you consider circular path(Fc=Fe)? This can be explain by writing a 3rd postulates that states ‘Electrons revolve in a circular path called stationary orbits, and there will be no emission or absorption of energy while electrons are in that orbits.
    Btw Coulombic force is proportional to 1/r^.
    Correct me Prakash if I’m wrong.
