This video is very helpful, thank you! Do you happen to have any experience with rivets that are too long? Mine stick out way further than yours do and it seems to be impossible to get them to "spread" out. Do I buy new ones? Do I saw them?
Definitely easier to just buy a better length, but if you need to, I've used an angle grinder to shorten rivets and make them easier to peen. Or a small metal saw could work too.
