We have numerous bird feeders, that both birds and squirrels enjoy!!! We love watching the wildlife in our backyard...birds, squirrels, rabbits, raccoons and possums!!! Love the bench painted black!!!

Hi. Robin...love the black bench. Yes deadheading does so much for a plant. I took my jade outside now that it's warmer...I thought I was keeping it in shade enough until it adapted to bright sun...and I sunburned it. I'm so upset with my self. Oh well...live and learn. Happy Memorial Day my friend. We had a delicious breakfast on our neighbors deck this morning and then went to the noon Mass out at the Cemetery. I watered my mom and dad's grave while we were there. It has been so dry here. Your porch is so inviting and comfortable looking. Great job. God Bless ❤

The bench you painted black is so pretty and updated , I bet your fingers and hand was sore from all the spraying , I bought a handle that goes on spray paint cans at lowes , Just a idea for the next time , The front porch is so beautiful, Just a few small touches make such a difference , Another amazing video with ideas we can all use , The rainwater in a bucket to water your flowers , I had never thought about that .

Yes, taking off spent blooms on plants is called deadheading! The black bench really pops! We would take some of your rain here in eastern Iowa. Heading into drought conditions. Our crops need rain!!
Hi Robin! Love the bench painted black. We always had bird feeders growing up. Now I have an apartment in the city, so no bird feeder, but we also have a country home for the weekends and breaks and there we have hundreds of fruit trees around our home so need for a bird feeder. Anyway, happy to see you working outside and can't wait for that weeding you've promised. You can keep me company because it's all I do weekends!

The bench refresh looks great! My birds in my backyard only get seed in the Fall & Winter. We have SO many bugs here in Georgia, that I want those sweet birds to do their jobs in the Spring & Summer & EAT those bugs. Since I feed them all Autumn & Winter, they have already built their nests & I get the enjoyment of their singing while sitting on my back deck. My ceiling of my front porch is painted Haint Blue (a Southern thing out here) it's supposed to keep birds from building nests on your front porch. This year, it didn't work. I have a complete family of birds living on my front porch in a corner we didn't paint! We will paint that corner Haint Blue after they fly away. Enjoy your sweet birds this summer.
