Great show. So many who's displeased with it , then maybe it's not for you. Don't forget it's drama first and character driven. Hope they make a season 2.
I strongly disagree with this verdict. I'm sure it comes down to taste, but I think the series was properly executed. It features many facts about the ninja - shinobi - has decent action scenes without getting too gory, but looks at the family dynamic that is seldom explored on film. I can't recall seeing it explored this way in any ninja movies before. The characters were believable, the plot had a few twists, and I never quite knew what would happen next, so it kept me coming back for more. Japanese audio with English subtitles for me, thankyou very much. Not perfect, but I would give it a solid 4 out of 5.
Since the Feudal Japan, being a ninja was not about fighting but about the mission and survival. A ninja who has to resort to fighting is a bad ninja! This show perfectly depicts the life of a Shinobi no mono as per the scrolls.
This is not an action story... This is a family drama with action in it. Great show.
This guy doesn't know what he's talking about. This show is the best show on TV.
Agreed. The show held my attention from start to finish. That's his opinion, but I'm just going to have to disagree.
100%. This show was great. Definitely did not lose steam and had a banger finale.
I loved the show, hope they make a second season

These fools don't know. This is greater than Frosted Flakes.
Idk those kinda people will say House Of dragons is peak 😂
Truthfully, I’m glad there wasn’t too much action and that it was more mystery driven.
Character development played a part too.
That's what truly makes a good ninja show. True Shinobi were spies & assassins, they didn't have to get into fights all the time! 🥷

Show is amazing. They need to green light it to finish the story
Hope there will be a season 2.
