There will always be a place in my heart for good ol' fashioned "boy scout" characters like Cap. A humble & honest person just doing what they can to help & a bit of humor too.
I miss these kind of hero these days... sometimes having a hero stick to their core ideals/morals no matter what makes a far more compelling story than the grey ones.
Cap is not a strict boy scout. But more of ideologically sound soldier. He's someone who knows, when to trust, who to trust and how much to trust. That's why he's the leader of avengers.

Considering he's a WW2 vet, (and Fully knows about Vietnam and GWOT) he probably saw a lot of people Peni's age die in battle. Never really had a chance to live their lives. In the the US, during WW2 about 40% were volunteers and the other 60% were drafted.

I dont know why but when i heard some of Caps lines in game it made me tear up a bit. Felt like i had heard the voice and words of an old friend i hadn’t heard in a long time. They did a really good job of capturing the true Captain America in this game.

The Punisher is a homicidal maniac who hunts down other homocidial maniacs, but he’s also clever enough to not just open fire on some villains in a room full of heroes without prompting. Likely that these voice lines will be pasted onto every Sniper to serve as an audio based heads up that the sight lines are cleared to get some automatic information exchange to players
I know Cap mostly fought against Germany in WW2, but his concern for Peni is lovely. She is Japanese, after all, and Americans like Rogers wouldn't have had the... Best views on them. But, then again, he's Captain America. And this is a different time, different place.
I mean he only got to fight in the European Theater of WW2 so he wouldn't have any opinions kinda. Now if he was one of the soldiers that got transferred from Europe to the Pacific before he got put in ice then that would have been different maybe.

You can't win wars by not killing the enemy and I hate to tell you people, but most Marvel characters have put many innocent people in danger for decades. To the point where they have allowed the villains to join them without even a slap on the wrist. Using the TV series is not an example or an argument to use, which was very inaccurate to the character. And guess what people, the people at Marvel don't like him and several other characters, so they're going to make them look bad, which has been going on now for years.
