Dear Ghana, The time has come to start taking our immigration issues more serious than we are doing now. If we're not careful, we will loose all the good things we boast off. We don't want a messed up country especially in terms of safety. Yooo
Hmmmmmm. Must Ghana be in a haste to implement things like this??????? This must be looked at critically by the incoming government. YES, Ghana must start taking her immigration issues seriously. If not, the future of our children and country is .....
Great discussion but unfortunately, your experts have missed the point. Visa free provision is only for short term stay and so no one will be allowed under the visa free regime to come and trade here. There are numerous benefits including organising continental and global meetings at short notice since participants will not require visa to travel into the country
@lindaesmerada Ghana already has a visa free protocol with all ECOWAS countries. Adding the other 40 AU Member States will not make any difference in terms of how the GIS handles foreigners who travel to Ghana. The truth is that, there's not going to be a sudden influx of travellers into the country. The process only waives the visa requirement for travellers
@@Youngblack25 The white man will always tell Africans that they shouldn't unite or open their border as one free trade area because of security issues. He knows once African gets united, he is finished. We therefore need to wake up ourselves. These security issues can be managed easily. But getting united as Africans is the only way to go. Why Europe is united as one block now?? Do u see any serious security concerns there?? Let's wake up Africans and put an end to the narratives of the Western countries.
The free-visa move outweighs by far the potential security-related issues. We need to make Africa one. The expert is speaking from the western narratives point of visa, with which Africa can never become trade free.
@@Imran-p6l Is not bad but are all African countries ready to be one ??? We need to ask ourselves this question. Ghana should not over sacrifice and lose the peace that we have. If we don't check our immigration issues well, bad people will invade our country and do cr!me and fraud. It has started already. Ghanaians don't want that.

Oohk, but is our immigration ready enough to deal with those who will want to take advantage and abuse this policy???

@@samuelnorgah1011 exactly. Plus how many African nationals are able to afford Flight Tickets for travels even within their subregion?
It’s a no no , security first
22:25 to 22:28, what we have is an ECOWAS Identity Card and not Ghana Card!!!!
You lot should call it by its appropriate name!
Very bad idea because of security reasons

We can also borrow good ideas of security management practices from countries in Africa where visa is already free for all Africans.
Madam journalist get your fats right, Ghana is not a visa free country it's only to African passport holders get your fats right.
