Very helpful video! I just got the new Furitek BL motor and figured I needed to beef up the plastic parts. I got the FMS Trans. Gear set because it includes the metal shift fork, but read way too many comments that the FMS gears are not scaled properly and bind in the case. I got spooked and also ordered the Treal gear set and will use the FMS shift fork and hope for the best. I also got FMS metal diff gears and Injora metal drive shafts. The FCX24 does come with metal portal gears so there’s one thing I can leave stock. I’m a little intimidated looking at those bags of teeny tiny parts…lol. It looks like I’m going to build a watch.🤣😬

It's nice to know that the plastic gears in the transmission were in good condition. Super easy installation of the metal gears. And trust me, I would've forgot the retainer too... 🤣

For me it was a game changer as I broke 2 transmission in a breeze, and with these metal gears now it's stronger and also a bit smoother (and silent). To finish the drive line I just fitted 2 metal diffs from FMS that I previously locked with glue, and now it seems we have a rock solid full driveline. I love this rig!!
