The Country Bunny and the Golden Shoes has been a favorite for my 3-year-old. A few recommendations for you are Minerva Louise and the Colorful Eggs by Janet Stoeke (short book with bright and beautiful illustrations about a chicken trying to sit on the Easter eggs she finds in the yard) and Seven Little Rabbits by John Becker and Barbara Cooney (cute rhyming and counting book about seven rabbits who are trying to make it to their friend toad’s house but get tired along the way).
