What do you think the last two lines of the poem mean?( looking back, does the poet regret his choice or accept it ? )

The poet is neutral and does not show any feelings... when he says '.....with a sigh' - a sigh could be heaved both in relief and in sorrow... So, we cannot comment on this.... It depends on the perception of the reader. As the path NOT CHOSEN is a mystery (it could be better or worse), so a person cannot regret or feel happy for not choosing it.

This poem is actually based on the life of the poet, Robert Frost .He was a professor at a university in America (I may be wrong while naming the country ) and he was confused if he should remain professor or go to UK and take up poetry as his career ( in which he was interested).....and now we know how famous he is. So simply he was satisfied
