      Can you make this one like the other one with the more calm voices and Binaural beats?? PLEASE PLEASE these are so great its just easier to take in when its more calm/relaxing like the girl and man voice in the other one... that talks about " thank you" and "reservations" and " non smoking room " etc This one definitely is incredible for necessary words ! its still good just loved the other format

      I have a question. Is it easier to learn the writing first or the pronunciation? I seem to be doing good with the writing like I know the letters and such but the words I dont know so I cant actually speak or type anything which sucks. Any advice?

    • @프룬-f9t
      @프룬-f9t 4 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      @@ashton8211 Reading and writing can be quickly learned as long as you have tenacity. But there are often people who don't know the meaning of the word. So my advice is to know the exact meaning of the word you're reading or writing.

      Bang is emphasized with a hard B. Perhaps even holding the sound first. ㅃ
      Poor is said with an exasperated puff of air. ㅍ

    • @Lvckistvr

      Because that's how you learn a new language. You don't hear a new word in a different language once or twice and automatically have it memorized forever.

  • @teresagyllenhaal3452
    @teresagyllenhaal3452 3 ปีที่แล้ว +30

    For people who wonder if this works - there is no concrete science on whether or not people can learn while sleeping. One study did show that people who were introduced to new words in a different language while awake and then heard those words on repeat again while sleeping were able to recall them better than the people who slept without hearing the words.
    If you think listening to this one night is going to make you wake up suddenly knowing a bunch of Korean words you've never studied before, it's not. It is just like when you are awake. You need to study the same word over and over again multiple times to learn it.
    So if these videos can actually help (no harm in trying), you'll have to listen to them more than once. And your best bet is to go through the vocab set of the video once before listening to it while you sleep (you don't need to watch the full 8 hours. It's just a set of words that gets repeated over and over so watch the first set)
    Also, yes, you will need to have the TH-cam subscription service to have access to this video without ads. That's why TH-cam puts ads into long videos these days

    • @Unethical.Dodgson
      @Unethical.Dodgson หลายเดือนก่อน

      3 years late for a response. o/
      The best way to learn anything is through cognition and application. Hearing a word, understanding what it's associated with, and then using it yourself. In fact, it's also best if you don't associate it with a word in another language. Learning what Apple is in Korean is better if you associate it with the actual object rather than with the word "Apple".
      When asleep, we convert a lot of our short term memory into long term memory (Though this happens throughout the day, too.) and it's at this time you can help 'remind' the brain of the things you want to put in long term memory. Hence why repetition just before sleep or listening to something during sleep, helps.
      So yeah. Practice messing around with words and grammar just before bed and then listen to something like this to keep it in your mind while you sleep. Helps quite a bit.
      You are quite right that you don't learn anything simply by hearing it in your sleep.

      @Lalita Thorecha because in actual practice, you can't count through all the months in a conversation. It helps my brain associate it faster, rather than counting. Kind of like if I asked you what letter comes after "L" and you had to sing the alphabet song to remember what comes next. That's not practical, for me at least.
