So, just like it costs money to read the manga and watch the anime, it costs money to see the stage play *4) Why are certain characters not in the stage play?* While there are certain characters who don't appear in the play because they aren't included in this part of the story (like the other villains and some of the pro heroes), the main reason other characters don't appear was the cost of a large cast. The stage play didn't have a ton of money and they chose to prioritize their spending on high quality costumes and effects rather than a large cast. But, due to the success of the first play, all of Class 1-A, all members of the League of Villains, a lot of pro heros, and other characters have been added to the cast for the second, third, and fourth stage plays *5) Is there any way I can listen to the official soundtrack?* The soundtrack is available on LINE Music and other streaming services in Japan if you have an account that is registered as being located in Japan. No because I love how the stage actor of Aoyama is flirting with the audience because in the anime, you usually see Aoyama breaking the fourth wall and directly somewhat looking at us- I love it.
People saying this shit is cringe and childish and panders to just total weebs but... These people work so hard to choreograph an entire musical that lasts for over two hours. You see these people acting, singing, dancing their hearts out every single play because they're so hellbent on wanting to bring this vision to life, working together like one big ass family. The passion that goes into musicals like these never cease to blow me away. Its just art in its ultimate form, so many people coming together to express a singular vision. These people are heroes in their own right.
All that, added with the fact that they have choreographed fights, so many creative ways of bringing each characters quirk to life on stage, and some of the best makeup work I've seen, they put so much effort into this play. You could say they went beyond....PLUS ULTRA! (I am so sorry)
Those who dismiss "geeky, nerdy, fandom-related etc." works of art as "cringe, childish, pointless/unsubstantial" seem to miss the point of art as a whole. They assume superiority through stuffy high culture, misunderstanding of how different people's brains are different, and misrepresentation of what they dislike (intentional or not). It's so important to realize the similarities in passion we have to, say, sports fans or classic literature analysts (the latter of which I strongly enjoy being). It's so important to at least dip your toes into sociology so that you may get a better hold on _why_ you really like a series and have a mighty need to share said appreciation - of course, without bashing those who believe another series to be superior. Nerd/geek/weeb culture is taking "art for art's sake" and elevating it to the stratosphere; I just wish more people could rise with that concept because this musical *is* awesome.

I'm stunned by how perfect each member of the cast fit their character - it's literally like they were copy and pasted directly from the anime, especially Ryota as Bakugo, Yume as Ochaco and Yuki as Present Mic. Also, the costumes look really good and actually seem like real superhero uniforms - impressive!
I never thought I’d see such accuracy, but they did amazing with this! I’m shocked how they could find such perfect actors. By far one of the most impressive things I’ve seen.

I love how they stay in character throughout EVERYTHING, even at the end you can see Shigiraki is just looking lost while everyone else screams “Plus Ultra” !! They’re so talented I can’t-
Don't judge a book by its cover. People would laugh seeing the poster but really, these stage actors went PLUS ULTRA, performing for more than an hour nonstop on stage. We should really appreciate them! Even the background acting is so detailed!

At the end of the play when the music is soft and when Izuku comes out for his solo bow, the setting mind of told me that 'it may seem like it, but in truth this is not the end, but just the beginning of a hero's journey.' I got so emotional 😭
