How do you know he is honest, not just as bad as the others, and is good at covering his nasty bits. He has just said militias control but isn't he a militia leader? Such hypocrisy. I tried to call him and talk to him. He was just as bad, as the others. He pretends to be democratic. But he has no time to speak to ordinary people. They are all the same, all of the Lebanese politicians. they treat people as flies and they don't count. Only they count and they are all.

In all developed countries, when a deputy makes an interview, he/she will talk about their objectives for the past year or period, how much of it they have achieved, what are the objectives for the next period and how they intend to tackle them. In Lebanon, politicians never talk in detail (with data and numbers) about what they have achieved. Instead, they give their opinion about other politicians/political parties.
The most urgent matters are protecting the borders having strong army and security then any deputy can start talking about budgets and investments. Lebanon is like jungle this days.syria and israel are out biggest problems.
@@willbusn5683 sure, but over the last 20 years, politicians interviews has been like this. We've been waiting for as far as I can remember for the regional situation to get better before tackling the economic and developmental issues. While the major thing that will make a concrete change in lebanese' lives is efficient public management and hard working politicians willing to make real progresses on public projects. The 1000 miles journey starts with a step, and it seems that no one is willing to take this step in our country.
We need strong army.a military coup will do for me.
That is in their DNA no program. No policies. Just criticising others. Totally personal politics. His only way forward is to give up being Christian and keep this to his household and his Sundays in church. Only when he thinks Lebanese, will I pay any attention to him? Lebanon is fertile land for anyone who will speak for Lebanon and put Lebanon first. None of them does. Tragic
@@Cookie-ny7sy It's definitely a Lebanese cultural issue. We are a society that privilege emotions over reason. Even if you love a politician, as a citizen, you are supposed to observe in detail what they are doing and what improvement has happened as a result. Be demanding with them and don't give them excuses such as, they are nice, they had good intentions, the situation was tough anyway, they tried, others didn't let them... If no data or number supports their results, don't vote for them again. As a boss, would you pay a salary for an employee who's not productive? Probably not. It's the same logic.

Regardless of being 15% or 55%, it is not a recipe in this day and age for building a state. Wake up it is the 21st century if you didn't know. The world is interconnected and there is no room in it for sectarian conflict - we live in the digital age and the fastest is the winner. Not this religion or that. This thinking is so backdated and belongs to the dark ages and we still hold on to this thinking. If we have a state then all will be protected. The state will have human rights, equal rights and freedom of speech. Or are you going to tell me we don't deserve this and this does not apply to us and that we are different. We are the same human beings and we comply to the rules of law when we live abroad so why not here. It is a good thing to have

So, why not ask him dead serious questions - where do we go from here? what plans do you have for Lebanon if any? not for Kataeb and his presidency of the party. He talks like a journalist. He is telling us how bad things are. Which evidently is true. So, as a declared leader, what will you do? what is your plan, What is your role? And by the way, Have you lost money in the banking crisis or were you wiser and got your money out of Lebanon and your are in good shape regardless? Leaders have plans, what are your plans?
