I have this , bought it at Harley dealership so obviously it's Harley "branded". Either way , I love it ! No regret or buyers remorse here . I don't trailer my bike , I simply use this to park my Softail Breakout in the garage. As any bike owner knows, it's so much easier to work on your bike or detail it when it's standing straight up-n-down as opposed to setting on the kick-stand. One small thing to consider ; when you want to get your bike out of this chock/stand , you need to be sitting on the bike in neutral and give a good roll / lunge in the reverse direction. I had my left knee replaced a few months ago yet I can do this .
What tye of system should I use to mount my chock temporarily... I have a wood floor toy hauler camper. So I can't use standard screws to mount because putting it in and taking it out a few times would make the screw holes in affective and loose. Any help ?
Now how hard is it to pull it out of the chock. I got apes. The Harbor Freight one is a bitch getting the bike back out and as you can see, I'm not weak.
i guess it depends on your hight with most schocks.im 6ft3"and(how long your legs are matters)i have a road king,no apes and a zx14r and it is only slightly hard to pull the hog off the chock,the sport bike is a little more difficult to pull off but not a big deal,you want a schock that is kind of hard to pull out of so the bike stays put.i dont think there are any schocks that are as good as the condor and i can use the same schock for cruser or sport bike,and the bike stands straight up so i can get off and strap the bikes down by myself without worry,these are a little expensive but its the last schock you will ever buy(super strong welds),i got the ps1500 with the trailer adapter kit so i can use the schock in the garage if need be,its been one of my better investments,and no i dont work for condor,hope this helps.
That’s the problem I have also with the Harbor Freight chock. HD Heritage Softail Classic tires are just too wide to get it out without a battle. The Condor looks to be somewhat wider.
