    Perhaps somewhere, at some time, there were sculptors of horses whose art is again part of the soil, lost to memory, who were as good as this one, but Ms. Tyler's art speaks better for horses, for the animal, than any other I have seen - any! I am sweeping my mind for images: Middle Eastern (Phoenician, Greek), Chinese, Japanese, Western Americana portrayals of horses I may have seen. All are beautiful; none is this expressive, is this powerful. The material gives it primal spirit. What a magnificent relationship of the art to the land.
    The paintings, too, are magic, coming as they do - evoked as they are - out of the canvas background How I wish........
