The Red Sox itself have a long long history of racism, even John Henry acknowledged this. Tom Yawkey was a vocal racist. Boston changed the name of Yawkey way to Jersey street this year due to his racist legacy. There’s no need in covering it up, its out in the open and dealt with.

Everyone was racist at one point in time before social justice ravaged the streets and minds of our society. It is one of the most vivid realities of the human conditions. In which us humans tend to pack together with others the same culture and color as us. and counter intuitively oppose foreign humans. Behavior gets irrational and physically lethal when males get in a argument. Language is also the most common reason humans can’t get along. Other than that I think it’s time we realize the past is the past and that we can only learn from it not delete it and eventually repeat it.

Racism in Boston?? In other news, Water still wet….

    •  7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

i hope Boston eventually goes underwater, but God helps the good people get out before the water rises too high to leave...Boston is an ugly city inside and out...The perfect image for Boston is the image of a white racist using the staff of the American flag as a spear to stab a Negro attorney trying to ensure Negro children could get an education in a public school for which he paid taxes to facilitate that right to do so...

    D. Ortiz is lucky to have his jersey when he travels back home; knowing his appearing to look of Haitian-descent, his own DR would have put him in a camp by the border. That in itself is real racism. D. Ortiz is just trying not to make waves so he can be celebrated like #2 in NYY. I give A. Jones credit for speaking out as a 10-5 player, knowing the Angelos family can't just send him to ARI/SD/TB. Why is Jim Rice not appreciated in BOS?? What nonsense did B. Russell have to put up with playing there?
