Yea that sucks and it’s not hard to look up hand signals most commonly used in dance battles. I would think Wooyoung? Would know the signals since he apparently did street dancing at one point but he didn’t mention anything.
But thankfully Mbitious crew know now how SMF goes. Pyongya and Hoya did well with the next level. It’s just sad that 5000 was defeated many times because of wrong judgment tss
Street dancers, coreographers had to fill the judge's seats, not only idol dancers. Yeah, they are talented and recognized in kbiz but are not able to be judges in a street dance competition. Mnet presents this show as a dance competition but in fact, the judges fit more a regular idol survival show. At least one of them, had to be a pure dancer.
My sincerest hope is that the Korean public recognises his talent. Under the battle with Hyunse the comments where overwhelmingly supportive of him but it would honestly break my heart if his home country stays blind to his miraculous skills, mindblowing talent and humble personality 💔
I read some of the Korean comments there. People were supporting Ocheon as well! His talent is recognized in his home country, people love him so there's no need to worry💖
This is what i want everyone to notice in his dance, thanks for making this video. It look likes he knows all the song, he doesn't just dance, he tried to feel and exposed the music, the lyrics in his dance, that's why I like him more than others. Especially like him when he sing the lyrics while dancing
what's even more mesmerizing about him is that he's so calm and cool all the time 😭 it's like the feeling how they are all insignificant/inferior to him in every aspect and i cant agree enough. at this rate, i believe he was just there as a dance god to entertain mnet fake storyline lol. he's so cool and i'm falling in love with his simple manner yet amazing dance ability
He knows he is good at freestyle battle like this. Compared to the other member in his crew, he is have better techniques, skills, and experience. You know that half Mbitious' member are more like a choreographer than battler. On top of that, the opponents they need to face are tough af. 5000 is a DJ too, so he knows all music, and those affected his musicality in dancing. He is definitely a genius. But yes fucc the judges didn't realize the hidden meaning and detail he poured on his moves. As far as i idolize BoA, Eunhyuk, and Wooyoung, i really want to curses them 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻 Ps. I'm an Elf and i adore BoA so much since i was still elementary school. I also love 2PM but cannot called myself as a fan since i'm only a basic listener to their music. I'm not a dancer but i can see he is a genius dancer. I saw him for the very 1st time from The Mbitious. He seemed to know every song played, every beat and even the catchy part of each songs. I love his move! I understand why he won many dance battle. And i also agree from some of the comments that the SMF judges don't suit this show. SMF should've picked those who really really know what this program is all about. That's the only flaw i see from SMF.
I'm not a dancer, I don't know anything about dancing techniques, but in my opinion a great dancer is not only seen by how good the movements and techniques he uses in dancing but how he presents every detail in a song (lyrics, beats, and sounds) into his every dance move. And that's 5000, from the first time I saw him dancing on the program The Mbitious I've started to fall in love with every detail of his movements, simple and I think makes everyone who watches enjoy the song. I seriously kind of understood why boa was the judge during SWF, it was a new show, new concept and BOA is known for being a legendary idol dancer .. the clout and attention. But in SWF the dancers pulled it, I can barely remember boa and taeyong’s presence in the show. BUT IN SMF… do we really need them? DO WE REALLY NEED BOA and the show ADDED TWO MORE IDOL JUDGES? I know idols are good dancers but THE FIELD OF EXPERTISE IS DIFFERENT! Idols don’t solely focus on dance and are kind of unaware on the street styles.
In the interview when 5000 said that he lost more battles that day than his 7 years... Just proved the judges needs some review. Bring in judges who do the same battles to make it more legit. Like Jay Park said SMF is 80% drama and 20% dance

Someone should show this to Boa, Eunhyuk, ..Mnet.., Out of the three judges, Woooung's the only the who seemed even a little qualified to really judge these legends. The other two seem to know very little about musical expression. What 5000 did vs Hyunse was fking beautiful, the way his body moved to every note. I couldn't help but be angry with the results >:(

One of MVP Dancer said 5000 is a DJ. So he knows lots of songs. I am nit a dancer so I agree with judge choices but after watch reaction from dancers I changed my mind. 5000 all the way. I am sure he was confised why he didn’t win most of battles!
The problem for smf because the judges is not good enough to judge. Yes, for kpop idol, they should judge but this program is full of professional dancer. They should bring others senior professional dancer rather than senior kpop idol. The dancers are much better in dancing than the judges😂
The judge wasn't in the right place they should have brought someone who at least dances idk if you understand how so let me give an example (street dance of china) they have idols or actors who actually dance or know something about it and so many dancers from all over and the show had me learning and enjoying street dancing
