I guess somebody's gotta do it and I can dig the craftsmanship but I got too many loved ones decomposing in an expensive box as we speak. Makes me ill to contemplate it on so many levels. Sprinkle me over Maui if you would be so kind.
They obviously do good work, but the sad thing is once the funeral homes buy their caskets they mark them up astronomically. I've often said the funeral industry in the USA is one of the most unethical industries around. People have been conditioned over the years to think the less you pay for a funeral means the less you cared for your loved one. So people are basically shamed into spending ridiculous amounts of money on funerals to prove to everyone else and themselves how much they loved their family member. Too many people simply haven't caught onto the con being run on them by the funeral industry. I personally will have no funeral when I die. I will be cremated in a cardboard box and my ashes will be turned over to my designee to do with whatever they wish. I won't care what they do since I won't be there.
