I remember Soprofound the poet, slick and streetwise, wise and smart. We never talked. I simply observed him at the Book Cafe where i used to follow the emerging trends of what they called Slam Poetry. Then here I am. A whole week following this talented man's Chamhembe stories. Thank you
Lol it’s the consistency of this legend for me 😂👌🏾 Went to high school and was friends with Take5’s sister and got to go see him in action at their home. These guys shaped an entire genre from their bedrooms with minimal equipment. Much respect ✊🏾

This Guy is a legend. He is a music Sage. He has music judgement and instincts which are unparalled. His energy, philosophy, passion makes him the best ever to do this. I love the way he honors Delani. His artists are so lost without him. Especially now that we the generation that were teenagers during the era now have the buying power. He is what Surge was to Death Row. It took this interview to see that you were the energy behind it all. You are really Chamhembe. Mr Interviewer, you are so reseached. My Goodness Zim is so talented Your Legacy is Brilliant Mr Take 5. SALUTE
This was an amazing story!! Thanks So Profound for giving this man the time he deserved, a nice, long and eye opening interview. Also Take 5 makes a GOOD point about sampling our old music to continue the culture and Zimbabwean sound!
This is a man who is passionate about Zimbabwean music and understands identity. I wish current and upcoming artists could share a collective view of what is our identity and Zim music should be and sound like.
This is so epic @So Profound. S/O to Take 5. He did so much for music man. I remember going to Chamembe studios. Everyone wanted to go record there hahahaha. Wow
