I know this is really late, but I really want to thank you LFG for being such an inspiration, and as a young Christian man, it’s hard to find people you enjoy watching that share the same values.
So, that being said, you have really inspired me to become more of a man, and pursue my love for the outdoors. I have become an avid fisherman, no not professional or college, but I really enjoy it. Thank you so much for all of your wonderful content, and I hope to one day be able to meet you in person!

Fishing With Z Its like in the 48 laws of power ,when you make yourself too available you devalue your worth ...So the industry sees alll these desperate people trying to live an imaginary dream and they capitalize. . Tournament bass fisherman have devalued themselves by not standing there ground and setting industry standards. .. When I see a shirt with all types of sponsors what comes to my mind is this guys a sellout and a kiss ass. . ya ya sure 25 percent off rods to be a sponsors slave niiiiccce .. no thanks

That sucks, but your video opened my eyes. I feel I need to turn my focus on trying to make it in another way by getting paid to promote baits, fishing line etc. for companies. I have a family I'm a proud fiance an dad of 3 kids that I love with all my heart. I'm just a simple country boy trying to make my dream come true one cast at a time. I'm gonna look for the other video you mentioned at the end and try to learn more about going this route. I appreciate you and love watching you fish on your channel. Hope to meet you one day. I'm a sales man in a small market, we have two stores and the one that i work at didn't have any sorts of sporting equipment before i started back almost 4 years ago. I convinced them to jump in and said i would basically triple my responsibilities to do this because i was that confident. You just preached it right there Justin. My mindset is you either live to fish or you fish to live. Having to rely on a creature that can't speak and you can't control to put food on the table is crazy. You realized that that is what you can not count on to live day by day. I'm no tournament angler but I'm sure it was a tough decision to make. You have the mindset to be a tournament angler but the guys who spend their lives making a living off of it have a special part of their mindset that most anglers don't have. I think living to fish is the way to go so you don't have to stress about having the main necessities to live a normal life. Thats just my two cents but you worded it perfectly.

When I was younger, I loved fishing for bass, I would go on this one lake every night after work and fish till I had 5 bass. Sometimes it would take till 2;00am. At that time in Wisconsin you could keep any size bass, now it's 14 inches, and you can only keep one. But by hearing your story in this video, It really caught my attention. I really like your story. I have watched so many of your videos, and would give you likes, but I have a problem with that, wile watching your channel on my big screen tv, you can't click a like. But believe me all your video's deserve a like. When I'm on my computer I hit the likes as much as I can. But hey keep the video's coming. I watch your new ones every night. I pray for you all the time on your tumor, and my prayer was answered. Everything went well, I still pray for you because I still worry about the future, I'm pretty sure you will be fine. On your video's you seem so brave. You are a fan of mine and my wife's. So Gob Bless you my friend. And I like all your fishing buddy's to. I subscribed to most of them. And it was so nice what you gave Outlaw. I'm ready to retire in June, so I'm going fishing., and that's my story, and I'm sticking to it. Take care my friend, and say hi to ocean spoon girl from me and my wife, we love your channel.

Just seen the Gerald Swindle video on how much it takes to be a pro.....man.....your words as well as his are on right on the money. It takes a lot out of all you professional anglers, BB players and so on to make it big! True, REAL words that I hope people take into consideration when trying to reach your big goals. I would not take these words as discouragement but as words to think about and be real with yourself when going for yours! really like you telling how it is about tournaments..I appreciate your honesty. I was invited to be on the Womens' Bass Fishing team of a well known company but had to secure more sponsors..what a tough time that was for a woman..wow..I've shelved the idea for the same reason..family is more important. Thanks for the video. :)

Man I found this video late but it hit home with me I had a similar run only I did the hunting and fishing guide/camera stuff after my first military tour. I married my high school sweetheart from the 9th grade, wow, so I had to start thinking along those same lines as well house insurance kiddo possibilities and such. So I had to turn away from the outdoor industry which was a hard pill to swallow I have had the privilege of fishing with some fisherman that I grew up watching on tv just crazy but God somehow managed to keep me humble and remind me His plan was bigger than mine . Anyways love your videos and , the behind the scenes sacrifice it takes to do what you and your family do is is awesome buddy I know you are light years ahead of where you thought you would be but you kinda made it somewhat and that what I like about your content and videos you never forget where ya came from. Aightden keep danglin I’ve typed enough my thumbs are tired I hope this reaches you I look forward to following you on your journey bro btw I have a house full of girls too, thanks for the chicken duck thang cause now I have to build a chicken coop and one wants a duck the other wants a chicken and momma don’t want any of it hahaha sorry for the long message
