There was a cave east of brightwood that had bears in a cave. They used to drop 50rawhide per bear. Not anymore. it's thick hide now. :(

I'm new to the game and having a really hard time leveling up my mining. All the "farming routes" are always camped like crazy. I can't imagine even leveling the real professions right now with everyone scrambling and picking up the resources.
Welcome to a mmo, resources are scarce for a reason ;)

I started the game last night I’m only level 17 but on average all my farming stats are almost 60+ each
go to the internet, google new world map, and the first top link is it. you click it and its an interactive map where you can filter ore trees whatever you want to show exactly where its at on the map.
is there any good reason for asmo, runic leather, etc anymore? Should I still be making them everyday?
Rawhide is so hard to get atm, i noticed this yesterday. There was a spot i always used in Everfall which now has a load of corrupted mobs when it used to be great for rawhide as it bears, lions and deer.
I think your right they need to rebalance it, on my server rawhide is the same price as darkhide.
Daek hide is an easy farm about 9k darkhide an hour for me which in my server is worth about 3.5k gold

I was so pissed when I crafted my prismatic ingots. First time I've felt like I was caught up (having smelting leveled up enough to do endgame cooldowns) and the fuckers are a net loss last time I checked lmao
I got mixed feelings of the rawhide change. Im confused and mad at AGS at the same time, like the dogs at the little fort in cutlass its been there since day one! Why change it after all these years?
I have already made 200k gold selling leveling gear…. A full set of 350 gs armor and weapons that can equip at level 5 is insane… and a lot of value.

The Iron Hide range has changed also. Pig hill now drops think instead of iron hide.
Made a new char and had a quest to kill crocs there at the river in cutlass. Took me ages to get the kills coz so many max lvl ppl was around there killing them all with 1-2 hits lol

it's worth pointing out that if you enjoy coin but don't care to much about how popping the server is you can xfer for free to a couple of servers assuming you are in a high pop one. This will make you tons of coin because the server won't be as flooded with mats and simple things like charcoal, hearty meal ect will sell insanely fast and for higher profit than a high pop. I had 500 cut pristine gems, I sold them all on a newer server in one evening :)

Is it only me with bugged Jewelcrafting? Have it 250 and cant craft rings with scarabs/timeless shards (it has earning icon, it is called mythril ring and requires timeless amulet shard :/)
crafting needed simplifying & the items being made remotely useful to players of all levels, but they just made it seem 10x more complex, costly & material heavy.. i have several chars, several builds each.. feels like a huge job & i cant play the game as i have been anymore & its disappointing

Everyone is farming everything to get their life skills up.
Whether new returning or active players.
It will all fall off in a month or so (like every update)
So if gold is hard for you to make steadily, then yea.
Otherwise (like the majority of us) gold isn't an issue, we've been playing long enough that we know how to make gold steadily.
Crafting and selling really won't be worth it in the beginning, but that will level out and down the road.
Mat and craft mod selling is the way to go (in the beginning) like every update.
Like most, selling outside of the market is better (no taxes)
The old cooldowns (asmo PW RL GE) are so cheap in market now, maybe sell those (if you haven't already)
There are so many ways to make gold.
Cut gems are up (like most things) again to get life skills up.

They are giving you mats and you are crafting for them and giving the crafted gear to them at the end. Sold mine for 100k as well
Sold my azoth inductor for 100k as well, he used it for kite shield crafting which supports quite nice perks now.

Right now on my server you can't even make money on all the prismatic CDs. Kind of crazy.
Always buy with buy orders. Save yourself so much gold. You can post at ridiculous low buy orders and people will sell to you if you are paying the most.
I miss a way of just raw farming gold in this game that is working. For us who don't like to farm and craft for gold. Don't get me wrong, I like to get out and farm mats sometime - it's chill, but I'm more of a hoarder keeping them in storage and crafting for myself because it's fun and great feeling to be able to take off bank when needed to. Even if it makes it a long journey to max out all the crafting to max instead of just being able to buy it all from TP and go optimal crafting path.
Instead that makes you out of money when needing to buy other stuff in game that costs money. Faction stuff etc, tools, gear.
So wish there was just a way to go do some brain dead normal killing gold farming. I guess maybe chest runs are supposed to be that even if it involves getting brain dead yourself trying to sort of what perk sell and don't, salvaging, selling gear. Because in regular story expedition the gears mainly was bound and could not be sold at least otherwise that would be more fun way to raw farm. Now they patched the drop last night anyways, so it's not above 675+ gearscore anymore.
Has anyone else noticed the new resources respawn really fast like ive notice the trees respawn at like half the rate of wyrdwood
Yes I have not yet set foot in new area just clearing out old quest as a returning player. But I can see good spots for wood, fibers at least in the regular world and I go back few minutes later they're already back. Too bad the logging is not what I have to be able to pick them because it requires the rare Ironwood that is hard to spot among the other trees as well so maybe I miss some.
Yeah that's true. Ironwood takes about 30 minutes to respawn. Rune wood takes about 15 minutes
This is nothing new on an expansion drop specifically now that we have now level cap, people want to make a quick buck trying to flip mats, give it a week or 2 and it will be back to normal
all follow this guide and within 2 days prices drop dramatically lol

I have the best rawhide farm in cutlass still . Big loop 2k every 15mins or so if done right
day 1 i was selling mythril ore for 75g a pop. made 100k
How you get so much Prismatic Ingot, it has a cooldown for 10 a day??? (Or did you buy them?)

@@robverhagen6338 He saved up his aptitude crates before the update and then opened them after it went live. That's how he has so many.
Opened up over 50 armoing creates but forgot to check adamant lol! I bought mats long before expansion for quite cheap so i didn't mind the cost but with freedom shard etc loosing value i would agree they don't really worth farming them.

I’m a new player, you and a few other streamers have been so god damn helpful! I got a character to 60 the day before the expansion, but I’m on maramma in US East and literally cannot play, so I made a new character on a lesser full server. I have only been playing for around 15 days. This is my first MMO as well. That’s for the tips!

aptitudes will be good again but perks are everywhere , for example brilliant animus I'm holding 20+ of them and I dont have a plan to sell them less than 2k. (250g atm)
they were 1-2k right after expansion so u might have missed out

No offense taken but as it's my channel and no one is forced to watch, I'll do what I think is best. Also the leather thing isn't a full rant, the point is that it affects the market it a big way, it basically makes adamant more expensive in the long run for example
This kind of videos are usually being made for new players. People, who play this game for a long time know how to make gold. The things you ware talking about are veeeeery far from new player frindly stuff. It did not help me even a bit.
Not every video is for everyone. If you want gold I'd suggest Duke sloth patron
