Saw one of the messages ask "what genre is Stupendium?" That's a good question really. Between his stuff, his features on others vids, and his few covers it is hard to pin it down.
@Braden Snyder yup, he's done 90s boy band, a Beatles styled one, 80s ish rock song, electronic, club, etc. Nerdcore is a thematic framing not exactly a genre, genre is a style of music not a context of the song itself. See rock/metal covers of disney ballads as an example of rather different genres being coverd using the same lyrical content. also one of my other fav nerdcore type folk is aviators which is a synth rock style primarily.
I 100% agree when it comes to the quality of Stupe's videos. Even if the accompanying songs weren't straight fire (which they always are anyway), the visuals alone would be enough to satisfy. The set design here, the costumes, the special effects, and additional animation are all fascinating to watch. There's very few rappers on TH-cam that I think even come close to Stupe's level of, not just talent, but sheer _effort._ Every project is enjoyable on multiple levels; it doesn't matter if you're just a fan of the game or property they're basing a track around, it doesn't matter if you're just there for the track itself, and it doesn't matter if you're just there for the killer visual aesthetics. It's _all_ there as a complete package and it's really fucking impressive.
Plus they have multiple complementary talents that contribute to their phenomenal videos. Exquisite lyricist, fantastic rapper, excellent animator (hand and digital), and even a great singer. It's a shame it took so long for them to hit 1M subs but at least they're there, now.
Omg, i don't think that eyeroll at the start will ever not get me or make me jump. XD Yee, I think he messed around with framerate in Ad Infinitum as well. For certain parts, the Spamton copies were made to look... well, like copies, and the initial Spamton, I swear, looked like he was moving smoother. I... I may have watched the snot out of that video. This one, too! X3 Dood, you got to walk around the set? GG, super envious. I keep forgetting you guys live that close. :3
This song is fire! I really liked how you where amazed by the visuals and moving to the beat having fun! Stupendium graspy rock voice in the end is mind blowing
Same. Then I questioned if it was that or the mad-hatter from the original Disney movie. It's one of the two, who knows. I couldn't be bothered to check.
I have seen this music video so many times and I still get a kick out of the "Dude..." look that Huggy gives the player after getting smacked in the face.
yea ik lol, being in there was nuts, there was one reaction that's coming out soon to a rustage song and boy the chat was fun.. Connorquest started an interesting hashtag
This was a great react. Glad your back. The Stupendium is truly a master of presentation. I really want to see you react to Dizzyeight's -Lost. Featuring Fabvl and Mix Williams
ok i don't wanna say this in this way but i just think you're really pretty- like, your hair, your eyes, something about the way your face is formed, i just- love it
Every Stupendium video is basically a way to flex their immense vocabulary
And wardrobe.
And sometimes, his animation skills
and sometimes the speed at which he can sing
Seems to mostly different types of rock or rap, generally.
@@paralysleeps wait, HE makes them?!
I love your _instinctual_ reaction to seeing Huggy appear on-screen. Just straight-up, _"Nope, don't like that. Make it go away, please."_

His genre is Vibe. lol different styles different themes always a vibe
It's nerdcore
I'm not making fun of it, that's the actual name for music made after video games.
he makes music genre videos how did you not know
Rap? Maybe

Stupes is just so immensely talented and has such a vivid imagination that he always brings to life in the most amazing way

I’d love to see stupendium as the villain for poppy playtime chapter 3
It's funny because The Stupendium probably wants nothing to do with the game apart from his song.
@@JameyMcQueen Yeah but the Stupendium Doll would be a good antagonist.
Well…you were vaguely tangentially right…
Yeah, this guy's video production has gone from absolutely amazing to through the roof. He just gets everything so perfect.
His outro sounds like King Candy from Wreck it Ralph.
Thank you! I've been trying to think of what that voice reminded me of since the first time I heard this song.
Same. Then I questioned if it was that or the mad-hatter from the original Disney movie. It's one of the two, who knows. I couldn't be bothered to check.
Is that a reference from Disney or something?
@AaronDawgzilla9055 the movie I mentioned is from Disney but other than a similar tone and pitch to a character I wouldn't call it a reference perse
I have seen this music video so many times and I still get a kick out of the "Dude..." look that Huggy gives the player after getting smacked in the face.
Always great to see Stupes flexing their animation prowess to affect such gags now and again.
If you watch carefully, he only blinks like twice on camera during the video.
“Now your arms are long enough to slap boxes…”
Is that a reference to rap god? The chorus?
"Wish I hadn't paused there" oh my sweet summer child...
nothing like some nice wholesome chat at the start XD
yea ik lol, being in there was nuts, there was one reaction that's coming out soon to a rustage song and boy the chat was fun.. Connorquest started an interesting hashtag
And he told us before he started recording to behave
This is actually a masterpiece of modern hip hop. I'm not even joking.
Fire reaction Shwab! I love Stupendium, DanBull, and JT Music. They are goated.
On another note, I would love to see more HalaCG reactions.

Ain’t no one touching Stupes & Co. on video production.
~_~

shwabidi doing his intro while his chat is having a war
His songs are beautiful 😍🔥🔥
you can study the stupendium's lyricism for an English GCSE exam and have alot to talk about.
Stupendium qt the end: "It's VERY expethive, Douglath!"
I just realized the wacky voice repeating things in the background
Stupes posted a video breakdown on his second channel, as well as a bts.
You missed the ending part where his batteries die and his eyes flicker
1:20🔥
"I have so little commentary to add"
*yet pauses the video every 5 seconds*
