Aside from how calming this is, it's also quite useful. I've been using a strop all wrong.

Unintentional ASMR is simply the best.
I agree. I cannot get into the fake ASMR videos because it's acting and far too often overacting. For me, it becomes more annoying than effective because certain things are overemphasized, such as whispering, the letter "s", finger tapping, etc.
The only thing sharper than his knives is his articulation and annunciation 🤤😴
I like how he just said the same thing over & over in different ways during the first 3 minutes of video.
The big block is coarse and the small block is fine. And what you’ll notice is how much bigger this coarse block is compared to the small block. I want to just draw your attention to the fact that it’s quite a bit smaller so you wouldn’t want to use this when the bigger one would be better. You should go big to small otherwise sharpening the knife won’t work and you’ll notice that the big block is the coarse one and the small block is very fine.
That's the camera crew giving the guy advice on how to explain something very simple.
If all you had to do was just fart on your knife and it would be sharp, than they would of brought in a biochemist to explain it because if they didn't, you might of learned something.
This guy has the facial expression of a person who is telling you bad news.
How have I not come across this channel before? Jeez, took me long enough! I don't know if you're familiar with the channel Home, Garden, and Fashion, but she has some videos that would be great for looping. Her accent is heaven!

I really like his voice and gestures but have no clue what he is talking about. ^_^
Imagine sand paper for knifes. The more ‘sands’ aka little bumps per square (I assume an inch square) the finer it is. So when you start of you want quite a rough surface in order to put an edge on the knife, then finer to smooth it out

Hey, I stumbled upon something kinda cool that I think deserves more recognition. Not sure if it would make a good loop, but it's borderline ASMR. A channel called "Timbo Took", he's a Bob Ross knockoff that does Lord of the Rings inspired paintings. I find it very amusing.
