Jakarta Airport Arrival Terminal 2 2025 CGK

In this Jakarta Airport arrival tour we show you what its like to arrive into Terminal 2 where many of the international flights for budget airlines arrive and depart. The Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is about 45 minutes to 2 hours away from downtown Jakarta. All of that depends on the time you will be arriving and how bad or good the traffic is along the 2 lane highway into the city. I arrived from Singapore on Lion Air apart of the Batik airlines group. Jakarta is capital and largest city in Indonesia. I took a taxi into the city instead of the Jakarta Skytrain. Because it was so late at night when I arrived. I also had to get the Indonesia Visa on Arrival while here.

But you should settle for the price before any driver touches ur belongings, telling you to settle the price inside the car is already an uncomfy sign.

You better use only the blue bird taxi (the blue vehicle) as they charge as on the meter. Avoid other taxis than bluebird 😅

In the immigration, there is a sign which way you have to take but you don't read it (even the sign is really in front of your eyes tho. Hahaha). So, no need to rely on staff all the time.
