    I also use the mood liquid but I use the sprayable type with an airbrush... It barely takes any at all and you get a great smooth finish! I just stumbled upon your page tonight and I am currently binge watching some of your videos🥰🥰🥰

      @@crystaluv3313 You want to be sure to completely dry each layer before you add the next. And be very gentle when you add your 1st layer of resin and don't rub too much because you don't want it to reactivate And clump. Once you do your mood liquid and your 1st layer of resin you can move on to all of your other processes without any worry of messing up your mood application

      @@crystaluv3313 yes they are. They have some great glitters as well. Unfortunately, just like the thermo pigments, they are a bit pricey too. But, you do get what you pay for.

    I think if you were heated up the vinyl and then tried to pull it you might’ve been OK even though the paint was already dried you basically Could warm the vinyl back up and the paint

    Try airbrushing in the dust liquid crystal * dry then place template and blk paint .

    Also if you put that on flatten after you weld them together, you wouldn't have to pull them out one at a time, right?

    For my tumblers that I am going to remove the vinyl for a peek a boo I use contact paper from walmart...its easier to remove and way cheaper than vinyl....

    Hey there, you inspired me to buy the same thing and make my own cause yours was so beautiful! But I do have a question for you. The 1st coat I used worked pretty well but on my 2nd, 3rd and even 4th coats, there was this white film that would appear and would not go away even with heat. Did you have this issue? I contacted the company and they said that it was rejecting the liquid and that I should've gotten the sprayable kind instead and used an airbrush. But it was too late by then because I already bought 2. Ugh.

    • @crystaluv3313
      @crystaluv3313  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe the coats where too thick? I applied very thin coats. Honestly I'm not sure, this was my first time using this product. I had issues with the paint peeling up when I lifted the vinyl stencil. Have you applied a layer of epoxy yet?

    • @laurapope3685
      @laurapope3685 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was super weird! I first applied super thin coats cause I watched your tutorial as well as other tutorials (although yours was the one that made me take the leap!) but they were over only a spray painted surface. So then I was like, well maybe the reason hers worked is because her mermaid scales acted as a textured surface, which is what the bottle said to use it on. I thought the spray paint would've been enough to make it textured but apparently not. I epoxied what I could, so there was a little bit of mood ring color under the epoxy. Then I laid down the mermaid vinyl and painted over that. Same. Results. I wanted to cry. I used thin coats, heavy coats, dried it with heat, let it dry on its own...nothing worked. And honestly at that point I was so mad that I just glittered over it and epoxied it again 😂 it still does the mood ring effect but there are steaks from the brush and white steaks from it flaking or whatever. I have zero idea what in the world I did wrong! 😭
