Does the lens offer f/1.9 right through the zoom range or does the iris stop down towards the telephoto end?

The iris will step down as you zoom in.

***** Tried it in the store today. In auto it changed to f/4.0. In manual I was able to adjust it to f1.9 though.

I'm think maybe the PXW-200 may be a better option with a 17x zoom, same sensor size and also a F/1.9 through the zoom range!

Looks good but rather get a DSLR and when I get more professional will instead get a camera such as the RED Epics, Scarlet, or even Alexa's
