Why u not compared side by side by actual photo image?
if this comment get 20 likes I'll do that next!
So now what is next?
oh I really wished there was an indication of which apperture was used on each photo, but it is nice to see some samples of these lenses
Superb 👍
I felt like the colours on the 7 Artisans were way more vibrant - but this could have been the subject matter and maybe the time of day. For me the TT looked mushy and washed out - less contrast... but that is a gut feeling off one viewing.
agreed.
I know you dont do pixel peeping-level stuff, but I always wonder how these manuals compare to other lenses in low light. I notice an f/1.4 or 1.2 hardly gives you that extra stop+ vs an f/2...maybe it's the heavy vignetting, or maybe the glass isnt quite there, but I think it's something to see in the review, maybe compared to some sigma or similar.
I’m doing a full review on the 7artisans 35mm f1.4
Hello rage studios, would these lens be good for videos?
Sure, why not
Does it work on a Panasonic GH4 without an adapter
No
TTartisan overall has much better ergonomics and they focus more on full frame lenses. That's why TTartisan have focusing tabs.
Hello. Can this lens give the same quality as a nikon af-s 35mm f2.0 lens?
I don’t have Nikon but I guess yes, very sharp at f2
@@RageStudios thank
Pro n cons that make me still undecided which one I have to buy. May I choose 7artisan.
yes, I love the 7Artisans
Long story short - the 7Artisans 35/1.4 M-Mount is optically the better one, but from Leica Design, the TTArtisan 35/1.4 M-Mount Lens is the cuter design.

7Artisan is FLE design which is why it's longer and why it holds better sharpness up close.
I read a review that gave overall rendering IQ to the TTArtisan lens. Colour rendering I'd say they are both neutral.
good observations
what is your gear?
I used the Leica M typ240 for this photo samples
@@RageStudios i mean other camera..
@@vokalpiyano canon r6
@@RageStudios thank you..
@@vokalpiyano Yea, the dynamic range is terrible. Or it was badly set up ...
it should be TTArtisan but no TTArtisans
thanks
I feel like 7artisan lenses do not capture the fun and the look of retro compared to TTartisan. I buy these lenses to compliment my retro styled cameras such as my Pen F, X-T1, Nikon Zfc etc. Its just fun to capture that retro fun experience.
Buy a Voigtlander…
No , buy a used summicron better , sharper , smaller or if you don’t mind the weight then get the zeiss 35mm1.4
@@ductritran8637 35mm summicron is about 2k used. For under $500, hard to beat a voigtlander.
@@ductritran8637Zeiss lenses are not always comparing too well with voigtlander. Either way voigtlander have their own character that many people enjoy and they are ergonomically much better than Zeiss.
