Most electrical outlets in the USA are 15amp. Thats why every electric heater will say 1500watts. OR 5250BTU. Thats all you can get out of the wall. Unless you are lucky like me, my garage is wired for 20amp for table saw, grinder & other power equipment. I can get 2400watts out of my outlets SO, I could run 2 heaters but both have to be kept off full temp. each is limited to 1200watts, like, 3/4 throttle otherwise the breaker will pop. What could be done : plug in an extension to your 240volt outlet. This outlet has 120volt/50amp & 120volt/50amp. Build a custom electric box and in the box separate the 2 120volt lines into 1 120volt/30amp outlet. NOW, you would have 3500watts out of the outlet enough to run 2 1500watt heaters out in your greenhouse. !
