Remarks, (AO2) precipitation discriminator (snow or rain), (SLP124) sea level pressure 1012.4HPA, temp 15.6C, dewpoint 12.2C. Don't worry, I remember the days where I struggled to read them too, and there's still a lot that leaves me reviewing the AIM that doesn't pop up every time.
It was not something I had been used to with the remarks. Seen them a lot more now, and it's much better when reading them! Thank you very much though!
This worked when I first had X-Plane 11, stopped working after a while, best thing for me really as it rains mostly in the UK so I never got to see the True earth scenery for all that fog and rain clouds ;-)
looks like im having the same ISSUE as everybody else...ive installed it just as the way you showed in your video. I can see the addon in my plugins folder, but when going into xplane11, nothing has changed with my weather. HMMMMM....
Thanks for another X-Plane video. I tested this plugin few years ago and I was not big fan of it. The problem back then was the way it injected the weather. It did not use standard X-Plane weather injection, but it modified datarefs (something like internal variables) resulting weather at current location to be the weather present on entire planet. It had weird consequences like when flying at FL340 and tuning COM radio to ground ATIS, 80kts wind was reported on ground station. Upside of the plugin was more accurate weather, you just may need to be aware of above if it is still the case. I don't know if Zibo is pulling the weather from the sim, but my guess is it is using internet, so you may always get correct METAR. I have to admit, in my opinion there does not exist any weather injection/representation plugin of which value be adequate to its price. For now, I am sticking with X-Plane stock weather, which is good. I still hope HiFi Sim Tech with Active Sky will surprise us all, if they will ever release it.

Its really strange, once I am done with the installer and launch XP11, the plugin does not show up in the Plugins Tab. All the files are in the right folders in the Xplane main directory... plugins... etc. Is anyone else having these problems?

I was never taught exactly what it was or to use it when I learnt to fly..... RMK is any remark made after the RMK could be anything.....Usualy the cloud levels and cloud types.
I believe SLP may be Sea Level Pressure, would it not? Coming from an engineering background I never used the abbreviation for SLP, (using P0 instead), but I should have picked up on what that was trying to say. Thank you for the RMK explanation, I did not know that at the time of recording!

I'm sure when I 1st put it in (about 2 months ago, now 12th May 2023) there was some 'red' text in the WX section of XP, I could be wrong however there isn't any longer? I'm using XP 11 55. Hello, I am afraid I do not know if this is up-to-date any longer. At one point I put a note on it saying 'No longer working' but I was then told it still does work. As far as I know though, this should still work with XP11. I no longer have XP11 installed so I cannot actually check for you either, sorry!

Hi, Is there anyway to stop the METAR visibility being injected at high altitudes? E.g. 6sm is cool close to ground but highly unrealistic at FL350. If I’m over a station with low reported ground vis, It injects it at cruise which causes horrible blue haze.
Hi, I downloaded it correctly, but it refresh the weather every minute, the cloud appear and disappear, and the wind is bugged, it change from left to right continuously. Any tip?
Possibly check the refresh rate of the weather? There should be a setting somewhere. I do not use this addon anymore (moved to ASXP) so I cannot recall all the options - the bugged wind is also due to the refresh I believe
Thanks for the video. What is the update rate on this weather engine. I want to move away from Sqwkbox's weather updates because sometimes it just disconnects and then if I connect again, I get this sudden weather rush that can cause my aircraft to overspeed and to crash. I had that with the Zibo update where I went overspeed and my engines caught fire.
I am afraid I am not sure how often it updates. I remember that it tried to smooth it out the weather. I have never had the 737 catch fire while flying though
@@ECGadget I find this plugin to be great however this engine gives extreme gust winds. So extreme that when I taxi the whole backside of my Zibo 737 lifts up. Too extreme to be even realistic.

its not clear weather...Simply because you have chosen Real time Weather...regardless if you choose clear weather or not...it comes down to the state your in..As Real time Weather...it will change when you arrive into another state ect: So sorry mate your Add-on isnt working..... I've just installed via Installer but at the plugins option, ı cannot see Python Interface.

Sadly I have a feeling this no longer works, as you said. ActiveSkyXP is a far superior replacement though - albeit payware

I had the same problem. Manually download python 2.7 64bit and install it and make sure there is a python27.dll in your windows/system 32 folder.

This addon may no longer work - I have noticed that some comments have said it works, others have said it does not
A2990 is the qnh in the usa they use inches mercury and europe use hpa
What really is a nightmare is using windows vista with explorer!

Does SkyMaxx cancel the NOAA Weather Plugin? I have SkyMaxx and can't see the NOAA plugin on the XPlane menu.

ECGadget I found the problem. I had this problem because IVAO weather was on with XNOAA weather. Now it works nicely 😂🤦🏻♂️
