Shelves are looking good! I think I'm with Bruno on the Zord shelves. While the boxes look super cool, there is just something to be said about having them out and on proper display.
Same here, it's why I keep wanting to see the MEGAZORD WALL up close, when that happens you can really appreciate the individual complexities with the different zord and megazord designs
Love seeing all the process for the 3D work and your displays have always been amazing! And, while box art is usually super cool, and feels like you're in a toy store.......Seeing the figures on display is always more fun!! :-)

That Command Center! Hasbro should hire you. For the Shinkenger shelf, would you decorate it with floating Kanji, so it's like the Mojikara is floating around?
Thanks for letting us look in on your progress! When I first saw your original wall of megazords I was floored. Now we all get to see the progress of TWO walls! Although the OCD in me would probably help clean up the mess of boxes LOL
I love the progress in all the sets and I cannot wait to see the command center completely finished and I’m even more excited to see The Macha wall 2.0 and the figure wall to. And my mouth dropped when I saw you’re starting to work on the lupin vs pat, shinkenger, and ninninger display those are in my top five sentai
Really looking good the shelves and how the Command centre is coming together. And yes Bruno i know what you mean trying to pack Super Sentai Toys back into the box. Its really annoying. And yeah i had some Zords just standing in the boxes but its just look so much better having them out standing. It just looks so much nicer. Hy Bruno, getting excited for your Command Center. I wanted a show accurate version of that since i was 9 years old. I really hope hasbro does somthing like that in the near future.
Maybe if you trimmed off the blue, it would be low enough. Love the Saber Tooth Moochie Zord. Poor Mittens, lion cut job. Nice wall display, floor needs a little work... Team Moochie!!
Might I suggest using a crystal ball for the command center viewing globe. You can get them in all sorts of colors, you can get them with little laser etching inside so it actually looks like the Rangers are looking at something, and they are relatively cheap. You could also go with a cheap plasma orb for similar reasons. I think they used a big plasma orb in the show.
The lightning balls?: th-cam.com/video/zJS45gE1fMY/w-d-xo.html I've used that as a set piece in many videos. For the command center, I'd like a white/frosted bulb. In this case, the most show accurate option is also the most affordable. I can find an LED light that's dimmable and the right size/shape for the set. I spent a good deal of time on Amazon yesterday trying to see what else they had. So far, normal LED bulbs are winning as far as what I've been finding (show accuracy/price).

Looks like the Dino Thunder display is looking good so far, hope you can find another Dino Thunder Black, I'm glad that you have started getting out the Shinkenger/Samurai Zords, also I loved seeing the Lupinranger VS Patranger display(no specific reason, it's just my favorite season of Super Sentai), also I can't believe you and Mia have that kind of mental connection #DividedAsOne #teambrumia

For the ultrazord you could put more water effects around the feet to make it look like its standing triumphantly in the ocean with its feet partially sunk so you dont have to worry about raising the shelf higher
That wouldn't make Shinken-Oh shorter though. The Ultrazord fits just fine. It's the Shinken-Oh base that needs to be modified. Which is fine. I can build a new set that better fits that space anyway.
It would be awesome to see a display where every shelf looks like the command center for that season. Ex: Time Force shelf looking like the clock tower, Ninja Storm shelf looking like Ninja Ops, etc. Btw, #TeamBruno
Your collection is a amazing and really like you put your megazords and boxes for a decoration and I want to be like you collection megazords and I hope we can do it together
I think you should trim the bottom of the Shinkenger base a bit, if possible. It is a little thick, so I think it has the least to lose all things considered. Also, if you do a Kiramager video, please note whether or not King Express uses the Technic pin to attach his arm like he does on the show.
Uhhh, I threw away most of my shinkenger boxes, which I’ll always regret. It was my first Super Sentai series and I wasn’t yet accustomed to keeping boxes. Luckily I kept the biggest box, for the bull mecha! So I keep the collection in there, being decidedly careful how I put the pieces all in the box. Shinken Golds lobster legs got a little bent over time (I know, heat and everything but I don’t like resorting to that) luckily it looks fine enough. But it taught me to keep boxes if possible!!!
I do that too! And then put them in a "safe" place (meaning I'll never find them ever again!) I always mean to work the boxes into my videos, even for personal reference. Usually by the time I remember I've already opened the box. Man, some of those are really impossible to figure out once they're out!
I doubt you guys are looking for any advice, but the panels should be printed out in transparent or cast in transparent then the back (except for where the light shines through) should be painted black, once everything is fit in it's housing you'll have the flashing lights coming through only where the "buttons" are..again, i didn't think you were asking for advice, but i figured i'd throw it out just in case lol
For the command center? The panels should be black/silver. There are holes for the lights which stick out of the panels. I'll probably paint the inside of the base or use black poster or somethin' so no lights are shining through the plastic (since the blue is a little transparent).
No i got what you were doing, like i said you didn't need my advice, but I figured I'd share, the back of the panels would be painted black so no light could escape. You would make the panels in a different material the was translucent so the light could shine only though those parts, and you can print the buttons and paint the opposite side that'll be shown the silver brass and gold...i hope I'm getting what I'm trying to say across coherently lol
Maybe spray-on window frost that you can get around Christmas for the viewing globe? My only thought is that it's not permanent as is, but it also can be wiped off easily enough if it doesn't look good.
It'd cost the same (or more) to find/buy a spray to get something that doesn't look quite right. I'll just get a bulb and it'll look exactly like on TV.
aren't you worried about the light from the window damaging the toys? , you know you could save your self some time and material if you just make your command center parts be an upgrade set to the power dome playset
That is a very big reason I have curtains for those windows. Direct sun does not shine on that shelf. The thought of saving time by using what we already have absolutely occurred to both of us, but then we wouldn't have the exact thing we want, the way we want it. That's why we're building our own thing. We can make it exactly the way we want it. Nothing you can do to the Power Dome playset will make it anything close to what we're doing. You'd have to remove every last piece until there's nothing left of it, which defeats re-using it. Even Zordon & Alpha would have to go b/c this is for the Lightning Collection.
I want to ask something because im super curious. What is the first mecha you bought FROM japan brand new? Also. the surfermaru effect parts look like they were made for that thing!
I would modify the Shinkenger platform. You should probably take a little off the top and repaint it. Then you can display shinkenoh with his helmet all the way up
That's what I was referring to for making him fit, but, I might eventually redo it entirely and make it fit the space better. There are other things I'll probably do first since that at least looks good as is, but, I can make the set wider and go back further (and a little shorter for the Megazord).

We mostly focus on making awesome things that never existed before we made them, vs things that have been mass produced. I'm drowning in ranger keys. Though, one thing we've wanted to do is make keys of ourselves. That would be fun. But for now, we're focusing on all of the various sets and set pieces.

I don't think we own any incandescent lights. Everything we use is LED, and I did say that was not a final bulb, it's the one I have handy (which is plastic/LED). Seems like if I was gonna start a fire, I would have done it by now, have you seen the stop motions I did as a kid? I used explosives next to the furnace in the basement. :-D
It'll probably be tough to top the one we did in CA. We modeled that Goseiger mountain, and sadly that ended up in the trash when we moved. That was a nice set. :( But, Mia's thinking about 3D printing that piece and maybe I can work it into another plaster mountain. (The last one was carved out of foam)

LC figures are available from Amazon, eBay, GameStop, Target, Walmart, BigBadToyStore, Entertainment Earth, Hasbro Pulse and a large variety of other stores such as your local toy/comic store, stores like FYE, sometimes stores like Marshalls, Ross, Kohl's, etc, Barnes & Noble also has them sometimes. Ranger groups on FB... it's almost easier to name places that don't carry them, but as for specific figures, stock will vary by store.
But Japan got them, and it's never been easier to buy from Japan. Always the way to go. I encouraged people all though Ninja Steel to buy Japan and provided Amazon links. Bandai was actually pretty good about releasing every Zord since Samurai, some got cancelled during Ninja Steel though. But, even when we got every single Zord, Japan's still had more lights, sounds, paint, detail, etc etc. In some cases, it was actually cheaper to buy Japan's toys during Ninja Steel b/c they were discounted.

If I did that, and it was the only shelf on the wall that was raised, that'd drive me crazy enough to just build a whole new set.
