@EDISON_SCIENCE_CORNER Thank you, I wanted to make a product that needs a rectangle & I can make the corners soft bend & not a hard 90 squared edge / corners. Please have a great rest of your day...
Would you be willing to make a video showing different shapes that work but to address things like, how hard the corners can be before the current flow is decreased or in danger of creating hot spots that may cause fire or damage to items when used in inventions. Would love to see that & i think others may to if your willing to & can afford to create that. Alot of use can't afford R&D & by you making content, you get the on going youtube revenue, supporters, likes & we get to know valuable research and development info while watching another awesome video. If not,, it's cool, i can ask another youtube channel.. @EDISON_SCIENCE_CORNER
Increase the flux mind you your radial range will also decrease as you decrease the diameter meaning the LED will have less horizontal distance above the coil.
Great, but where do you calculate the required frequency of resonance of the coils? Without frequency matching the LEDs get a fraction of possible power
Did you took inductor from 9w led smps? I tried the with inductor of led bulb but its power is too low but work well ! And instead of joule thief can we use 555 ic to power the coil?
This is amazing instruction that I can actually use for my project! Thank you so much brother. Ps, I will place the metallic material which has 2.5mm thickness, between the battery coil and transmitter. Will it would be still works in that condition?
Hello, as the video is two years old I hope you'll see my question: I do a lot of recovery to avoid buying components that can still be used, however I have no idea where, or rather in what type of device, I can find these transistor npn bc547, could you tell me when devices doomed to destruction / waste I can find please, as it would be to try I do not want to buy a bag of several of these transitors. I also see that you use this other component (220 muh inductor) for this type of manufacture. Can we find any in devices and if so, in which ones (always with the idea of reusing components that would be destroyed if not recovered) and don't LEDs need a resistor in this type of assembly? Thanks in advance
Hello! Amazing work!! I want to try this myself for gunpla. Can I use a bigger capacity battery like a 18650 lithium battery 3.7v. If so, would I need to change some components? like the resistor?
I just randomly found you over instagram, i always wondered if i could make my own wireless Led with some small inductors, thanks for showing me its possible! Great Video! Only one question: how did you change the circuit in the end for brighter glowing leds?
Why transistor opens or closes? There is a constant voltage and there is no reason for transistor to open or close. single transistor oscillators don’t work this way.
im using bs 170 transistor and previously it used to work but now it isnt what should i do and deos the led have to have the same num of coils as the transmitter
You might be able to, but making something commercial usually takes a lot of work. Especially in safety regards and licensings or such. There are some commercial ones already I believe ^^
Thank you very much for this tutorial it really help And can you please explain why we're using that amount of resistor and what changes we need if we want to change the spec for example I want to make it 5v what should I do?
I've never thought to try it for this. although i've used a toroid with an extra winding to make 100ish volts to run a neon from a single AA. @@EDISON_SCIENCE_CORNER

@@freespacejunkremoval you can make it rectangular but reduce the centre diameter or else the power will be too low
If i want to increase the distance between the coil and the led, what should i do? Increase number of turns or increase the diameter of the coil?
Increase the number of turns, decrease the diameter ❣️
@@EDISON_SCIENCE_CORNER ok. I will give it a try
Increase the flux mind you your radial range will also decrease as you decrease the diameter meaning the LED will have less horizontal distance above the coil.
Great, but where do you calculate the required frequency of resonance of the coils? Without frequency matching the LEDs get a fraction of possible power
I don't know
Reducing the diameter and turning it slightly rectangular makes it powerful i think??
We have to check that
Does the led light up if you hold it near a 230v electric power cord?
No bro
will every induction charger work with such leds?
Most if them
can i attach wires to the inductor legs, so the led is not directly on top of it?
Yes you can add like that
But can you boost the range of the leds
What range
You attached the led straight on to the inductor? No need for capacitors?
No not necessarily
Did you took inductor from 9w led smps? I tried the with inductor of led bulb but its power is too low but work well ! And instead of joule thief can we use 555 ic to power the coil?
No I bought new inductor. Yes you can try with 555 circuit
@@EDISON_SCIENCE_CORNER online or offline and where I can buy inductor cores in offline market

Not possible

You can use any type of components from anywhere. Yes the BC547 can be used. 220muh inductor maybe you can find from computer Power supply boards.
@EDISON_SCIENCE_CORNER thank you for taking the time to reply and thank you for the information. ;o)
Also do you have an example for 12V? Or another option, I would have to bring 12V photovoltaic, one-to-one, through a window or thin wall(camper)?
You can use resistors /regulators
Wich two coils do i connect together the one that has alot of L or the one that has minimal L( i am confused by the circuit diagram🥶)
Both

You can use but you have to change the resistor

can you tell me this transistor model name
Bc547

Only one question: how did you change the circuit in the end for brighter glowing leds?
Thanks. I didn't changed the circuit i just decrese the size of the big coil.
Good idea
Yes
How big can you go with this? Just need to make the coil about 5-10 inches and than I was going to buy the bulbs.
I dont know about that distance . It should work therotically
Oh I was reference the radius not distance of lights to the coil. Not sure if the bigger you go with the coil the more battery you need
Why transistor opens or closes?
There is a constant voltage and there is no reason for transistor to open or close. single transistor oscillators don’t work this way.
There is a capacitance
Super sir

Maybe your transistor got damaged.
The LED side should have a higher number than transmitter
@@EDISON_SCIENCE_CORNER how do i tell if my transistor is damaged?
Check the transistor using multimeter
Can you make a commercial version of this wireless leds ??
What bro
@@EDISON_SCIENCE_CORNER can this wireless led circuit be made for commercial purposes??
We cant

Good
😍
may let me know if I want to change the size of the transceiver and increase the distance.
You can increase the distance by increasing the size and increasing the number of turns
@@EDISON_SCIENCE_CORNERso would a smaller diameter + turns work better? I’d like to have my leds around 1 foot away while maintaining brightness
Can we make this ring bigger then the size shown? so to cover more area. can we add voltage more then 1.5v and what is max limit?
It will increase the distance
You might need to shift to a MOSFET instead if you require high voltage
Sir adipoli
Thanks

👍😊
whats the resistor for? it only overheats for me
To limit current

@@EDISON_SCIENCE_CORNER nothing, i solved it.
