Getting OLDER in the woods - Suggestions for new older hikers

I'm old all of a sudden!
An upcoming birthday has inspired me to reflect deeper into my approach to being outdoors, and I have a few suggestions (not tips). Ideas for hikers young and old on what to wear, what to carry and where to direct your state of mind.
