Still in disbelief at all of the images, stories, and devastation coming out of where I call home... Western North Carolina and the appalachian mountains were severely hit by the recent storm Hurricane Helene - In the week that has followed, roads have been impassable, phone lines down and thousands without power.The death toll in NC, due to the storm, has risen to 115 casualties, with hundreds still missing...
It's heartbreaking, and I feel really grateful my family, friends, and dog in town are all safe! Conditions are tough but people are helping one another; if you can please consider donating to this area in need and or share the word! It would be appreciated by a community that is in crisis.

I gathered some clips together that were mostly from only a few months ago, It's insane that a number of the locations in this video (RAD, French Broad River Park, have been destroyed or completely flooded. It's unimaginable. Wishing AVL strength and safety during this difficult time.
