Llamas don’t spit, that’s either a camel llama hybrid or a guanaco with melanism. Trust me, I had hands on experience with a llama to know they are not oftentimes grumpy curmudgeons who spit on people. Llamas tend to be more calm and obedient than camels or even camel hybrids, like the cama. It seems making a cama is an experiment to make a llama that can live in the desert and remain pretty calm. That made a camelid with a worse attitude. But llamas are calmer than camel hybrids and even guanacos themselves. Guanacos and camels spit more often than llamas or alpacas do.
