Golrie was outside the cage for me. Also, for some reason, I could use spirit trees prior to this quest. It may be related to other quests I've completed. Either way, it made for a much faster way of getting to the village. Great guide!
Additional Notes: 1. "The Grand Tree" is a prereq, and spirit trees are already unlocked at the start of this quest. Spirit trees are the quickest method to reach King Bolren. 2. Glourphrie's location may be in the main room before the gate, depicted at 3:24. Select option two: "anti-illusion devices," to proceed. 3. FYI, took me a min to figure out. If you have a CRYSTAL SAW, use it on the Singing Bowl to revert it back to a Small Crystal Seed, then proceed to click the Sing-Glass second option on the bowl and tada Crystal Chimes!
So I went to search the crates and found the key but the quest log won't progress. The little guy is also not in that room, the hobgoblins are in the room with the chest and the little guy is in the room with the cage. I've tried a few things but the quest just won't progress.
Is this glitched now? Doing quest atm and Golrie is in the room before the gate u have to open, also I get a message saying the chest is empty so can't obtain disks.
Trying to do this quest, when I get to the part at 6:10 the game ONLY gives me the notes and does not give me the key. I checked quest caravan, my bank, even my key ring (despite knowing it can't go there) and I don't already have the key. Reddit wasn't help (only issues people had were being smoothbrain and not hopping for the second step of quest.) It's been over a year since I started trying to complete this quest and I have absolutely zero clue what I'm meant to do other than storm jageq hq until they fix all of their old janky quests.

Ok, I'm stuck. I can't crawl throug the tunnel. It keeps saying "You don't want to start crawling around in the tunnels unless you know where you're going!" Did I miss something??
Hi is there anyway I can donate to you? Also can you work on more of the grandmaster quests? You havent done as many of those and other peoples quest guides are terrible or have hard to understand accents compared to yours.

I've made a channel update video covering the topic how I'm prioritizing vids at the moment, but TLDR I'm remaking old guides that didn't have compass to north or good quality while taking it a bit easier on me so I recharge my energy to get back into making the more difficult guides

also when getting the puzzle parts from chest if you spam click search when it opens u can get 2 lots of loot from it

you can also add any books you find to your bookcase in your player owned house
