Hi Andy, great review. Ordered the rangefinder almost two weeks ago. Still waiting. I’m in Canada. Should have been delivered in 3-6 days. I’ll give Shot Scope another two days before I cancel the order. Can you recommend a suitable option

Hi Andy, I just canceled my shot scope order. I was told that it would be shipped out by the end of last week. It still hasn’t shipped. I’ve decided to purchase the Blue Tees Max 3. I will also be looking at a different GPS watch option. Any recommendations.
Hi John. That's a shame - sorry you've had to cancel on the PRO L2. It really is a great little laser but hopefully the Blue Tees serves you well. In terms of GPS watches, there are many on the market to choose from. I use the Shot Scope X5 for GPS and tracking my performance stats. They also have the G5 which is GPS only and allows you to choose custom coloured straps. I guess that Shot Scope may not be the flavour of the month, though, but I have plenty of videos for these products on my channel just to give you an idea of how these work and what they offer. Yes, not fully waterproof but water resistant. I’ve used it numerous times in the heavy rain without issues. Wouldn’t take it swimming but for general golf usage it’s fine!

Got to be honest, I’ve generally only used it during daytime rounds or twilight rounds, and have never had any concerns with the usage during lower light conditions. The PRO LX model which is more expensive has the dual optics which is handy for usage in brighter conditions, but in all honesty, my PRO L2 is attached to my bag and not my PRO LX, so it’s not that important in my opinion. At less than £130, the PRO L2 really is a brilliant piece of kit.

Is it water resistant?

Yeah, totally. No issues for me using the pro l2 and I’ve used it during some of the wettest rounds of golf imaginable!
