- It's looking like we will see an influx of Hot Wheels Car Culture soon with Race Day right on the heels of the Canyon Warriors release. So let's have a look at this brand new mix, and compare it to the first Race Day mix released back in 2016.
I love what Hot Wheels is doing with car culture and the premium lines. I love both the Merc and the Capri for sure. Mercedes in Hot Wheels just works so well. I would love to have these!

The 935/78 actually has bigger wheels in the back. For once, the Hot Wheels version is quite tame compared to the real car :)
Just happy it's a car culture set and not a boulevard set because that means I actually have a chance of seeing it on pegs
You're lucky, we barely get basics on the pegs, just all the fantasy cars, the employees take all the good cars out either for themselves or to sell on ebay

I would’ve chosen the 935 for my favorite, but I personally don’t like the livery. With cars as rare as these irl, I think the best liveries are replicas of real life examples. The Martini one, for example is amazing. I like the red 935 Moby Dick because that was an actual livery that raced. So my final favorite would be the Capri because the casting is brand new and I just love Group 5 cars. I think the livery was on the presentation car and didn’t actually race, but still.

That Capri is stunning
I believe that R8 LMS’s (at 8:56) livery is loosely based on the 2022 Scherer Sport Team Phoenix, just without the sponsor’s name.

Nice! The Mercedes is beautiful, but the spoiler looks a little bulky. Slightly think the new version of the Race Day is a little better. Thank you for all you do with the videos, I watch them all!
The Ford Cabri is a stunner, very popular in gemany, fighted in a kind of predeccessor of the DTM.
Hans Heyer, Klaus Ludwig drove this Porsche-Killer, Group 5.
The old and new 935s are different cars. The new one is the homage car Porsche made recently based on the 991.2 GT2 RS.
The Aston Martin is the winner for me for sure! Hot Wheels is (currently) the only brand that has made the Vantage GTE in 1:64 scale, which is perfect for Le Mans lovers like myself!
A company called PopRace has done the same gen in its GT3 form but depends how striclty you want to follow GTE v GT3

I wish they'd retire those white wheels seen on this 935. They look too plasticky. I have a BMW M1 model with the same and it's all I see every time I look at it.
